Human Resources Advisor – 10 Month FTC
The TelegraphHR Advisor at Telegraph Media Group working with HR leaders and business stakeholders. Providing HR advice, managing employee relations, and supporting talent development.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- work closely with the HR Business Partner team, Head of Employee Relations and the HR Director
- partner closely with the organisation, including the relevant business leaders supporting them in driving the Telegraph Media Group’s strategic goals
- form strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders
- providing people-focussed and commercially-grounded advice
- manage organisational design and change, resource planning, talent development, reward, recognition, employee relations, well-being, engagement and compliance
- support the Business Partnering team including other HR Advisors
- serve as the first point of contact for general HR queries from Editorial
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrable experience in an HR capacity with a good understanding of fundamental disciplines of Talent Management, Reward and Employee Relations.
- Broad knowledge of employment regulatory framework.
- A level of commercial awareness and business understanding.
- Ability to work in ambiguous situations and provide clear/best fit solutions.
- Good negotiating and influencing skills, adept at handling difficult situations or challenging individuals to gain positive and constructive outcomes.
- Able to work in a busy, fast paced team-oriented environment.
- Highly organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple levels. with strong written and verbal communication
- Ideally 5+ years experience within a HR generalist role.
- Data and analytics experience is desirable.
- Ideally CIPD professional level qualifications.
