About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • work closely with the HR Business Partner team, Head of Employee Relations and the HR Director
  • partner closely with the organisation, including the relevant business leaders supporting them in driving the Telegraph Media Group’s strategic goals
  • form strong, trusting relationships with stakeholders
  • providing people-focussed and commercially-grounded advice
  • manage organisational design and change, resource planning, talent development, reward, recognition, employee relations, well-being, engagement and compliance
  • support the Business Partnering team including other HR Advisors
  • serve as the first point of contact for general HR queries from Editorial

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Demonstrable experience in an HR capacity with a good understanding of fundamental disciplines of Talent Management, Reward and Employee Relations.
  • Broad knowledge of employment regulatory framework.
  • A level of commercial awareness and business understanding.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations and provide clear/best fit solutions.
  • Good negotiating and influencing skills, adept at handling difficult situations or challenging individuals to gain positive and constructive outcomes.
  • Able to work in a busy, fast paced team-oriented environment.
  • Highly organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills across multiple levels. with strong written and verbal communication
  • Ideally 5+ years experience within a HR generalist role.
  • Data and analytics experience is desirable.
  • Ideally CIPD professional level qualifications.
