Stock Associate

Equipment Operator

• Use power industrial equipment to load and unload, move, or stack materials or products
• Operate manual or electric carts to fill orders
• Scan and count items from the receiving area and load them onto carts
• Stock items appropriately by location and quantity
• Receive merchandise from vendors and other stores and place it in the proper shelf location
• Check off merchandise as received
• Correct mistakes found on inventory count sheets
• Assist in pulling parts during busy times
• Work with the stock manager to address order problems
• Perform miscellaneous projects and other related duties as assigned
• Maintain and promote workplace safety
• Secure and transfer cash or other assets

Warehouse Associate – Equipment Operator

• Receiving, labeling, and storing incoming shipments
• Assessing stock for damages
• Keeping a concise record of inventory
• Accurately filling customer orders
• Picking of parts to fulfill orders
• Maintaining clear records on all inventory and stock
• Scanning items into the warehouse management system
• Inspecting all stock for damages and keeping records of damages
• Organizing the warehouse space
• Preparing orders for shipment
• Recording exact arrival and departure times for shipments
• Operating stock management tools: for example, powered industrial equipment and pallet jacks

Warehouse Associate

Manager

• The Stock Manager is responsible for maintaining a high level of productivity, efficiency and customer service
• Manage the team responsible for stocking items on the shelves and ensuring the neat, orderly condition of the store
• Ensure customer service goals are continuously met
• Formulate and enforce picking goals for each area/zone of the warehouse
• Ensure dock to stock for most lines within 72 hours
• Work with purchasing to develop and implement procedures for unloading orders from vendors and stocking them on our shelves
• Ensure trucks/ trailers are efficiently and accurately loaded/ unloaded to support the efficient movement of goods and materials to their destinations to fulfill commitment to our customers and support sales objectives
• Work with dispatchers and outbound production team to enhance customer service via delivery vehicles
• Check in and post orders from hubs and vendors
• Maintain an accurate count of inventory
• Assist parts pullers to locate and identify parts
• Handle damaged deliveries, report damaged merchandise to shippers and vendors
• Coordinate with store manager and purchasing on inventory updates and replacements
• Maintain a meticulous standard for cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the warehouse
• Ensure that safety and compliance practices meet DOT and OSHA standards
• Maintain 5S warehouse principles are administered and followed on a routine basis
• Manage carrier (FedEx, UPS, USPS, etc.) and local (contract) delivery relationships

Stock Manager

Accountant

• Prepare month-end closing journal entries and analyses for assigned accounts
• Review general ledger account activity and prepare month-end closing journal entries and analyses for assigned accounts.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
• Research and correct account discrepancies.
• Work effectively with other teams, such as Accounts Payable, Payroll, FP&A, and Operations in order to prepare closing entries and to anticipate changes to processes.
• Help lead the implementation of best practices to simplify, standardize and scale our accounting processes.
• Analyze complex financial reports and records.
• Perform variance analyses including identifying trends and researching material variances.
• Assist in the interim and annual audits by providing supporting schedules, working with other departments within the company to gather data and answers accounting questions by researching and interpreting data.
• Prepare financial statement footnotes for bank reporting.
• Assist in documentation of accounting process and internal controls.
• Coordinate more complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance team or with other departments.
• Other responsibilities will include participation in system implementations, special projects, ad hoc analyses.

Senior Corporate Accountant

• The Returns Associate is responsible for the intake of returns from drivers and opens all boxes to ensure that returned items are correct and that the returned items are items sold by the company.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Support the FP&A Manager with monthly business reviews, budget variance analysis, and ad hoc reporting across assigned regions or branches
• Build and maintain driver-based forecasting models incorporating volume, pricing, margin, and labor assumptions
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reporting packages, including variance commentary on revenue, margin, and expense drivers
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting templates that improve visibility into operating KPI’s
• Assist in the annual budgeting and long-range planning process, consolidating inputs across multiple regions
• Partner with regional controllers and operators to validate actuals against forecast and flag emerging risks or opportunities
• Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support pricing, labor, capital, and location decisions
• Help prepare materials for monthly business reviews and other leadership presentations
• Identify and help implement process improvements to streamline recurring reporting and planning cycles
