About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Schedule drivers' routes and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries
  • Use the dispatch program to track orders from other stores and set up/distribute runs to drivers
  • Ensure drivers count money collected and record delivery times on bills
  • Work with Parts Pullers to ensure deliveries go out correctly
  • Work with drivers to ensure they know the correct route
  • Update customers by phone on the status of their orders
  • Assist drivers who have difficulty with routes or other aspects of the job
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Accurately follow written and verbal directions
  • Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
  • Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Great communication skills
  • Time management skills
  • Able to work well under pressure
  • Must work well with other staff members and supervisors
  • Must have open availability, flexibility to work various shifts and overtime
  • 1–2 years of warehouse experience preferred
  • Current, valid driver's license
  • Must meet company insurance requirements; drivers must be 21 years old or over
  • Familiarity with warehouse safety measures
  • Maintain and promote workplace safety
  • Ability to secure and transfer cash or other assets
