About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Schedule driver routes and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries
- Use the dispatch program to track orders from other stores and set up/distribute runs to drivers
- Ensure drivers count money collected and record delivery times on bills
- Work with Parts Pullers to ensure deliveries go out correctly
- Coordinate with drivers to ensure they know the correct route
- Update customers by phone on the status of their orders
- Assist drivers experiencing difficulty with routes or other aspects of the job
- Maintain and promote workplace safety
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Accurately follow written and verbal directions
- Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
- Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Great communication skills
- Time management skills
- Able to work well under pressure
- Able to work well with staff members and supervisors
- Open availability; flexible and able to work various shifts and overtime
- 1–2 years warehouse experience preferred
- Current, valid driver’s license
- Must meet company insurance requirements; drivers must be 21 years old or over
- Familiarity with warehouse safety measures
- Maintain and promote workplace safety
- Ability to secure and transfer cash or other assets
