About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Schedule driver routes and ensure on-time, accurate deliveries
Use the dispatch program to track orders from other stores and set up/distribute runs to drivers
Ensure drivers count money collected and record delivery times on bills
Work with Parts Pullers to ensure deliveries go out correctly
Coordinate with drivers to ensure they know the correct route
Update customers by phone on the status of their orders
Assist drivers experiencing difficulty with routes or other aspects of the job
Maintain and promote workplace safety
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Accurately follow written and verbal directions
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements
Focus and remain on task in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail
Great communication skills
Time management skills
Able to work well under pressure
Able to work well with staff members and supervisors
Open availability; flexible and able to work various shifts and overtime
1–2 years warehouse experience preferred
Current, valid driver’s license
Must meet company insurance requirements; drivers must be 21 years old or over
Familiarity with warehouse safety measures
Maintain and promote workplace safety
Ability to secure and transfer cash or other assets
