Application Engineer

• Integrate security controls and practices into Rubrik’s secure SDLC and collaborate with Engineering to embed security into every phase of the development process.
• Perform security assessments of applications, identifying vulnerabilities and weaknesses through both automated and manual testing techniques.
• Carry out detailed analysis of identified vulnerabilities to ensure high fidelity findings are provided to Engineering teams.
• Assist in identifying and implementing frictionless "shift-left" strategies to seamlessly and proactively prevent vulnerabilities earlier in the SDLC.
• Aid in the collection, management and reporting of key Application Security metrics to track progress and identify trends.
• Analyze and harden existing applications, automation, and deployment processes
• Participate in security design reviews and threat modeling of proposed products and feature releases
• Work with development teams, operations, governance, and other stakeholders to document security guidance, processes and standards for Rubrik products and services

• Serve as the technical SME to help PMs translate complex cloud requirements into actionable product requirements and PRDs.
• Work closely with PM and Engineering to design and validate architectures and workflows that meet enterprise-grade performance and security standards.
• Lead the "last mile" of product success by ensuring field teams have the right documentation, technical enablement, and architectural guides to make post-sale implementations successful.
• Conduct hands-on validation of new features in lab and customer environments to ensure they solve real-world challenges before full-scale rollout.
• Support the Sales Engineering and Professional Services organizations by validating field-facing content, including solution briefs, demos, and technical enablement materials.
• Act as a technical consultant to key customers and partners, helping them navigate cloud architecture and integration questions.

• Provide day to day Salesforce support/bugfix to our end users
• The single point of contact for all Salesforce needs on the GovCloud
• The primary point of contact for the customer support team on all SFDC needs during PST hours
• Support end users in data extractions, reports, KPIs and dashboards
• Ability to do Unit Testing for bug fixes
• Monitor and maintain the ongoing system integrations between Salesforce and other upstream/downstream applications
