• Build and run a launch engine with Product, Engineering, and Marketing that moves as fast as we ship.

• Get Ramp into the right rooms and the right publications. Build relationships with the journalists, creators, and voices that actually shape opinion for our audiences.
• Work with Communications and Brand to make product news memorable via written, visual, and video formats.

Senior Lead – Tech and Product Communications

Systems Engineer

• Own endpoint security and fleet management. Build and maintain the security and compliance of every Mac and PC across all offices and remote employees through Jamf and Intune — device trust enforcement, configuration management, patching, and vulnerability remediation at scale.
• Own identity and access infrastructure. Architect, build, and operate Ramp's identity platform — Okta, platform SSO, device-bound authentication, and entitlement governance. You'll ensure every employee, contractor, and system authenticates securely, and that new tools and vendors can be connected safely without opening gaps.
• Build AI agents that automate security operations. Design and deploy AI-driven automation to replace manual, repetitive security work: vulnerability triage and remediation prioritization, identity threat detection, compliance posture enforcement, and audit evidence collection. You'll turn reactive processes into autonomous workflows.
• Define AI agent identity governance. As Ramp deploys AI agents into production, you'll define how those agents authenticate, what data and systems they can access, and how their activity is audited. This is net-new, fast-growing work at the intersection of security and AI.
• Partner on corporate security hardening. Work closely with the Corporate Security program team to harden Ramp's core platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365), manage endpoint defense tooling (CrowdStrike, Push Security), and support public sector and compliance requirements (FedRAMP, SOC 2).
• Unblock cross-functional teams. A stable, well-architected identity and endpoint layer directly enables engineering teams to ship faster. You'll keep the foundation solid so others can build on it without hitting security friction.

Systems Engineer, Corporate Security

Production Engineer

• Build and operate critical infrastructure across Ramp's compute, storage, messaging, and observability stack — owning the systems that handle real financial transactions at scale.
• Drive architectural change — not just flag problems. When you surface a reliability or scalability issue, you own the path forward: you propose the solution, find the owners across engineering, and stay in until it's resolved.
• Partner with product teams at the design phase — reviewing architectures, embedding golden paths, and making it easy to build correctly the first time.
• Build Ramp's next level of scale — you'll be a hands-on contributor to the most consequential infrastructure shift happening right now: our move to a cellular architecture, enabling Ramp to scale, reach international markets, operate in highly regulated and constrained environments (e.g. FedRAMP), and deliver on enterprise-grade SLAs.
• Enable AI-native engineering — as Ramp builds increasingly AI-powered products, PE is the team that makes sure the platform can support them. You'll proactively partner with product teams on AI infrastructure patterns, define the golden paths that turn one-off solutions into reusable foundations, and stay ahead of emerging challenges before they become blockers.
• Build developer tooling and self-service infrastructure — so that other teams can answer their own questions (cost, performance, reliability) without involving PE.
• Participate in on-call rotation — and more importantly, use every incident as a signal to eliminate the root cause, not just resolve the symptom.
• Lead across the company — PE doesn't just review designs or show up when called. We proactively initiate cross-team architectural reviews, and we take full ownership of company-wide reliability and scalability initiatives: identifying the problem, proposing the solution, aligning the stakeholders, and staying in until it's done.

Full-stack Engineer

• Build systems that make 300 engineers faster — merge queues, dev deploys, CI/CD, Smart Reviewer, stack tooling — and own the blast radius when things slow down
• Lead important incidents end-to-end: diagnose root cause (DB serialization failures, Redis latency spikes, Temporal timeouts), fix it, write the postmortem, and prevent the next one
• Design golden paths for services — API, DB migrations, Kafka, Temporal, secrets — so teams can spin up infrastructure without reinventing the wheel every time
• Own the full dev tooling surface: Devportal, Graphite, Buildkite, Inspect, dev deploys, LaunchDarkly, Datadog — and understand how they interact under pressure
• Treat the SDLC as a factory: measure PR throughput, CI/CD end-to-end time, and defect rates, then fix the bottlenecks instead of just monitoring them

• Close a high volume of deals by managing opportunities from first contact to signature in short, efficient sales cycles.
