• Own the end-to-end development of self-serve tooling that converts repeated marketing asks into reusable platform capabilities. Examples on the near-term roadmap: an MCP integrated directly with our design system and Prototyper app that enables marketers to go from idea to content outline to production ready landing page in minutes, AI content writing workflows, self-improving experimentation tooling, and programmatic sales asset creation.
• Be opinionated about agentic and AI-augmented workflows. Most of our compounding leverage comes from tooling that pairs an AI agent with strong guardrails. We expect engineers here to drive direction of the agent layer.
• Partner directly with marketers, designers, and PMs to identify which workflows are highest-leverage to automate. The job is part platform engineer, part product engineer - user research and tight collaboration with non-engineers is an expectation.
• Set the bar for velocity and quality. We're a small team with high stakes (this surface drives half of inbound SQLs). You should be the kind of engineer who ships at high velocity without compromising the brand or breaking the production funnel.
• Reduce the team's ticket burden by making the request unnecessary. Success is measured not in tickets closed but in the percentage of marketing work that ships without you touching it.

Senior Software Engineer, GTM Platform – Backend

Payroll

• Support end-to-end bi-weekly and semi-monthly payroll processing for US, Canada, UK and international contractors - including salary adjustments, timesheet auditing, benefits, and related deductions
• Manage off-cycle payments, including bonuses, commissions, severance, and reimbursements
• Train new employees and managers in the proper use of the timesheet system

• Keep the customer at the center of our AI building efforts. Define the standards of quality and accuracy and how AI agents and human operators should divide and conquer to ensure every customer feels supported and empowered through our CX motions, both reactive and proactive, even as the customer base and Ramp product suite rapidly grows and globalizes.
• Define the future of AI-powered operations and roles in the CX context. Ensure our operations teams and operations leaders are enabled to not only leverage the internal AI stack (Ramp Inspect, Ramp Glass/Claude Code, CX Agents, Ramp Research, Ramp Skills, etc.), but also become active participants in shipping and improving those systems.
• Own evaluation and iteration. Define frameworks to measure AI agent and tool performance. Build dashboards, eval systems, QA checks, and feedback systems that keep internal and external AI products improving continuously.
• Tackle foundational AI infrastructure challenges. Partner with engineering on AI data reliability, managing shared AI skills at scale, and solving the hard operational and technical problems underneath a truly AI-powered company.
• Tell the story externally. Help package and communicate Ramp's AI CX journey through customer pitches, conferences, and content, finding ways to deliver the benefits of what we've built to our customers and the broader market.
