• Own end-to-end product financial models across the hardware lifecycle, from early concept and roadmap planning through launch, scale, and sustainability, including unit economics, SKU-level P&Ls, and lifecycle margin trajectories.
• Serve as a key finance partner to Product, Engineering, and GTM to support key product decisions (e.g., pricing, feature tradeoffs, performance targets) through clear financial frameworks and scenario analysis.
• Translate product and GTM strategies into financially grounded execution plans, integrating assumptions around demand, pricing, volume ramps, mix, yields, and lifecycle margins.
• Drive product-level profitability and capital efficiency, proactively identifying margin risks, cost inflection points, and ROI tradeoffs across features, SKUs, and launch scenarios early in the development cycle.
• Partner closely with GTM teams to evaluate pricing, discounting, bundling, channel mix, and sales strategy, quantifying the margin, revenue, and cash-flow implications of different go-to-market approaches.

• End-to-end ownership (Indirect & Direct): intake, 2/3-way match, exception handling, disbursements, vendor inquiries, and close activities.
• Escalation lead: act as the primary escalation point; partner closely with the hiring manager and Accounting to rapidly resolve complex exceptions, payment holds, and close blockers.

• Vendor experience: enable self-service where possible; resolve escalations (price/qty/tax mismatches, credits, banking); negotiate operational terms with Finance/Procurement partners.

Accounts Payable Lead

• Lead and manage physical security operations for OpenAI’s New York City offices and internal events, overseeing policies, systems, and vendor partnerships; proactively assess and mitigate risks related to protests, activism, or other reputation-sensitive events; ensure reliable safeguards through effective access control, visitor management, and surveillance systems; provide calm, credible leadership with timely escalation to Corporate Security leadership when incidents arise.
• Partner with the Resilience Team to coordinate secure operations for internal, external, and offsite events, including occasional domestic and international travel; provide support to the Corporate Security Executive Protection Team on executive travel logistics as needed.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with local law enforcement agencies, local emergency services, peer security organizations, and other external partners to stay current on emerging risks; partner with Real Estate & Workplace, Legal, HR, Communications, and IT on security planning, access control, and incident response.
• Contribute to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), training programs, and compliance initiatives, ensuring all protocols meet high-quality standards and legal requirements.

Corporate Security Manager

• Be the go-to counsel and partner for several teams focused on consumer hardware product development, including packaging, labeling, digitalization and user documentation.
