Research Scientist

• - The primary focus is the research, development, and implementation of robust TTS and Voice Cloning systems for global expansion into new and diverse locales, covering the entire speech synthesis pipeline.
• - This role requires end-to-end involvement in launching TTS for new languages, ensuring quality and scalability across all stages.
• - Conduct thorough language analysis, phonetic/phonology studies, and define the phoneme set for new target languages. Design and implement the lexicon and G2P (Grapheme-to-Phoneme) development process to ensure accurate pronunciation modeling.
• - Actively participate in the initial stages of voice creation projects: Assist in voice talent selection to meet aesthetic and linguistic requirements. Collaborate on corpus design, defining sentence structure and coverage, and overseeing the corpus creation, recording, and quality review process. Cooperate on voice style design to define the desired emotional and speaking characteristics for the synthetic voice.
• - Lead TTS model training/evaluation for multiple languages, ensuring high-quality synthesis and speaker consistency. Adapt or extend current TTS Voices data flow/pipeline for new languages and actively contribute to developing/training new models. Conduct rigorous listening tests (e.g., MOS score evaluation) and error analysis to drive model improvements, collaborating closely with internal listening testers.
• - Conduct applied research into low-resource voice adaptation and few-shot voice cloning techniques to rapidly deploy high-quality new voices across various markets.
• - Work closely with MLOps and engineering teams to transition successful models into a low-latency, high-scale production environment for global deployment. Prototype new research ideas and optimize existing model architectures for real-world performance.
• - Actively participate in Agile software development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to gather requirements and ensure alignment on project goals. Participate in project planning, including research and development. Contribute to the backlog of tasks with improvements and suggestions. Implement Proof of Concepts (PoC) to introduce new solutions and ideas to the team. Effectively manage time and meet deadlines.

Middle Applied Scientist – Multilingual Voice, Voice Cloning

Engineer

• We are seeking an ASR Engineer to join our Solution Delivery team.
• You will be part of a talented software team that delivers the latest in Conversational AI and Virtual Agent technologies, bringing advanced voice-driven solutions to enterprises across the world.
• As part of this team, you will be trained on Omilia's Conversational AI platform and Speech-to-Text suite, working with cutting-edge technologies in signal processing and speech recognition.
• Audio signal processing, corpus processing & management, text normalization.
• Language modeling: training, evaluating, and optimizing language models for voice-enabled Conversational AI applications.
• Data augmentation for Language Models using various approaches including Generative AI.
• Phonetic lexicon curation.
• Developing and optimizing acoustic models for various languages, environmental conditions, and channels.
• Analyzing performance and optimizing existing Voice Activity Detection (VAD) models.

Middle ASR Engineer

Account Manager

• Execute the annual Analyst Relations strategy and plan: mapping which analysts and firms to target; timing of inquiries and briefings, research submissions, etc., aligned with Omilia’s business strategy, product vision and roadmap, and go-to-market strategy.
• Lead and coordinate all analyst touchpoints: briefings (internal spokespeople), all inquiry types, RFI responses, advisory sessions (where applicable) and client references.
• Build and maintain relationships with key analysts: with regular briefings and inquiries, to provide product updates, ensure they are informed of company direction, successes, differentiators etc.
• Understand and keep up to date with upcoming research, reports, market studies (for example Gartner Magic Quadrants, Hype Cycles) etc and map out when to expect invitations to, and deadlines for, RFIs and research we could influence. Ensure Omilia is positioned to for Magic Quadrants, Waves, and MarketScapes relevant to Conversational AI, Agentic AI, Voice Biometrics and Anti-Fraud.
• Manage internal alignment: ensure executives and product teams are ready for analyst engagements; manage prep, Q&A, workshop sessions for RFIs, briefing decks, narratives, and proof points.
• Monitor and track analyst coverage and reports, quotes and references to Omilia: sentiment, market positioning, track competitor mentions, ensure that mis-representations are corrected or proactively addressed and report to leadership on plan and status.
• Measure and report AR program impact to internal stakeholders: establish metrics, dashboards; show the return on analyst engagement (e.g. influence on sales cycles, inclusion in reports, visibility, reputation).

• Pioneer Research: Research and implement state-of-the-art approaches for multi-modal LLMs within an end-to-end, speech-to-speech dialog system architecture.
• Train & Optimize: Drive the training, fine-tuning, and optimization of our multi-modal LLMs. Your focus will be on enabling full-duplex conversational capabilities, advanced tool-calling, robust barge-in detection, stronger reasoning, in-context learning, and context-aware natural speech generation.
