Mechanical Engineer

• Coordinate the design of facility expansions and maintenance capital projects executed by external engineering firms.
• Define scope covering schedule, cost, and risk.
• Coordinate execution to ensure all deliverables align with Enbridge standards, regulatory requirements, industry codes, and internal guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with Enbridge teams across Project Execution, Operations, and Shared Services to ensure project and organizational requirements are fully integrated into the design.
• Provides technical guidance to others on the team based upon technical expertise and recommends opportunities for improvement via lessons learned, technical standard change requests, engineering management plans, contractor evaluations, etc.
• Manage, review and approve the execution of the design deliverables by a third-party engineering firm against the project budget and schedule.
• Own and lead all aspects of the engineering project scope, schedule, capital cost estimate, execution planning, risks and supporting information related to assigned projects from project development through closeout.
• Ensure that all assigned projects are developed as fit for purpose and in accordance with all regulations, environmental, health and safety, applicable industry codes and corporate standards.
• Review vendor materials quotations, evaluate technical bids and recommend selections based on technical merit along with price and delivery.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to procure material via internal tools.
• Lead and/or support business initiatives e.g. cost saving opportunities in line with business justification for projects.

Senior Mechanical Engineer – Facilities

Engineer

• Provide technical oversight of maintenance capital projects, including cost and budget estimating, material bid specifications, and technical assistance during construction and commissioning.
• Make sound technical judgments that are generally accepted as accurate and feasible.
• Identify project risks, exposures, and opportunities that may impact project success.
• Facilitate communication forums and issue reports on project status and health to management.
• Coordinate with external agencies for project development, implementation, and completion, including certification filings and technical responses.
• Contribute to strategies and decisions regarding project execution, contractor selection, and performance.

Supply Chain

• Partner with Business Units, partners, and SCM specialists to develop and implement sourcing strategies for projects and portfolios.
• Plan and manage SCM activities aligned to project schedules, including early market engagement to secure capacity.
• Develop, maintain, and monitor comprehensive SCM plans, addressing workload, materials/services, long-lead items, and RFx requirements.
• Serve as the primary SCM point of accountability, leading planning, reporting, communication, governance adherence, and risk mitigation.

• Support the SCM Major Projects team in the development and execution of project-level material and service strategies for Enbridge business units.
• Apply established SCM processes, tools, and procedures to resolve routine challenges and support project delivery.
• Prepare SCM planning documents, reports, and communications for stakeholders.
• Assist with forecasting contracts, purchase orders, and demand requirements for assigned projects or program elements.

Project Manager

• Provide technical support for network operations, including incident response and troubleshooting to ensure reliable network services.
• Participate in the design, configuration, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-scale Cisco LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi infrastructures.

• Coordinate changes to outcome-based field operations training, competency, and qualification programs while monitoring regional compliance with established standards.
• Lead training needs assessments and support management of change initiatives, ensuring effective development and delivery of training for field staff.
• Develop and govern the overall training strategy, including frameworks, standards, templates, and processes to ensure consistency and alignment across programs.
• Partner with subject matter experts and the LP Technical Training to design, enhance, and validate outcome-based training and competency verification programs.

• Support the S&R Strategy Roadmap by assisting with initiative development, tracking progress, and maintaining alignment across collaborators.
