Product Manager

• The Senior Product Manager will lead the strategic development and execution of innovative products across our private markets data extraction lifecycle—spanning document collection, data extraction, and data distribution.
• Own product strategy, roadmap, and delivery for a defined area of the platform.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and client discovery to inform product strategy, positioning, and roadmap, collaborating with Client Success, Marketing, and Sales teams to develop launch plans and support GTM activities.
• Proactively identify opportunities to embed workflow automation, improving efficiency, accuracy, and margin within the extraction and operations lifecycle.
• Collaborate daily with Engineering, Data Operations, Design, and AI teams to define clear requirements.
• Clearly document and communicate workflows, business logic, and operational standards via detailed PRDs, Lean Canvas, and phased product roadmap artifacts.
• Align with Commercial and Marketing teams to seamlessly deliver new products and features to market, ensuring enablement and adoption of all teams and clients.
• Establish clear success criteria and KPIs around product launches.
• Continuously measure product performance and customer impact, rapidly iterating based on real-world outcomes.

Senior Product Manager

• Backlog Management: Own, prioritize and refine the product backlog for multiple teams, ensuring items are clearly defined, detailed, and ordered to maximize business value.
• Detailed Story Writing: Write exceptionally clear, concise, and detailed epic specs user stories and acceptance criteria for complex features, leaving no ambiguity for the development teams.
• Technical Alignment: Work closely with technical leads and architects to understand technical constraints, resource requirements, and prioritization of features against technical debt.
• Acceptance and Quality: Be the sole decision maker for accepting or rejecting product level enhancements, holding the team accountable for meeting the definition of done and high-quality standard before any release.
• Agile Team Facilitation: Partner with engineers to define clear, achievable goals and lead all key ceremonies to maintain team focus, momentum, and alignment.
• Monitor key metrics and work with team to continuously identify and remove execution impediments and bottlenecks.
• Product Partnership: Work closely with Product Managers to understand strategy and bring enhancements to life from the ground up.

Senior Product Owner

Sales Engineer

• Support Sales, Client Success existing clients and their prospects throughout the entire sales process by acting as the domain expert on the Canoe products
• Assist our Sales Account Executives with the completion of RFPs
• Advise firms on technical matters to optimize, upsell services and products; navigate product roadmap
• Assist Sales and Client Success in coordinating appropriate internal product and technical resources for prospect calls and meetings
• Highlight and communicate the differentiating benefits of the Canoe solution vs. the competition by demonstrating knowledge of the Canoe product, client workflows, and financial industry domain
• Support the sales effort with “Proof of Concepts”
• Understand prospective clients' key business requirements, load client data, and design custom demo environments to help clients conceptualize their future Canoe experience or optimize the existing one
• Support in crafting solutions for clients to address their current business needs.
• De-risk future implementation projects by outlining and validating a comprehensive approach to address client requirements.
• Assist with the creation of the Statement of Work (SOW) as needed, budgetary estimates, and work with key internal teams (Client Success Implementation Managers, Client Support, Finance, and Legal)

Data Analyst

• Support Document Processing Workflows: Assist in the intake, review, and processing of LP documents (Capital Account Statements, PCAPs, Call/Distribution Notices), ensuring they move through the pipeline accurately and on time
• Monitor & Triage Exceptions: Review automated outputs, identify processing exceptions or anomalies, and escalate or resolve issues in coordination with senior operations staff
• Reconcile extraction data against source documents, manage conflicting data points, and maintain high standards across all client deliverables
• Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for private market data points
• Champion best practices, perform quality checks, and drive consistency across the team to foster a culture of excellence
• Perform analysis on data trends to inform our product and service offering
• Identify technology and process improvements to efficiently and effectively process data
• Help capture and organize process notes, workflow rules, and exception-handling procedures
• Work closely with Data, Product, and Engineering teams to communicate operational needs and contribute to product roadmap discussions

Data Analyst, Private Markets

Operations

• Own GP Relationships: Serve as the primary entry point for all documents and data into Canoe, processing a high daily volume of incoming files across shared inboxes and portals with speed and precision.
• Build and maintain relationships with GPs and LPs to facilitate seamless data integration and document reporting.
• Master the Ecosystem: Build deep institutional knowledge of investor portals—understanding exactly when they report and how they report.
• Drive Automation: Partner directly with our technology and product teams to bring forward ideas for automation, actively helping us transition from manual operations to fully automated solutions.
• Optimize Operations: Continuously identify bottlenecks and drive process improvements to create massive efficiencies in your day-to-day workflow.
• Reconcile & Troubleshoot: Investigate and resolve missing documents by comparing expected reporting dates against client expected deliverables to ensure zero gaps in data.

Data Operations Analyst

• Own the day-to-day execution of the asset data team and hold the quality bar at every level
• Develop analysts through hands-on coaching, markup reviews, and direct feedback on domain knowledge gaps
• Set standards and enforce them — you are accountable for every data point your team produces
• Build and maintain GP-level and asset-class-specific playbooks that enable consistent, scalable processing across the team
• Design comprehensive extraction rules for complex asset-level documents: portfolio company financials, operating metric reports, valuation statements, MOIC/IRR calculations, and multi-asset-class structures
• Codify financial concepts — valuation methodology nuances, cost basis adjustments, operating KPI definitions — into systematic rules that Product and Engineering can implement
• Serve as the final escalation point for asset data integrity

Data Operations Manager

• Build Canoe’s data operations organization across our Canoe Intelligence and Asset Data Operations businesses — define the team structure, hire the talent, and establish the operating model that scales with the business
• Own end-to-end outcomes: data extraction, validation, and delivery — you are accountable for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness at every step
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team with a mix of operations, data, and private markets expertise
• Optimize the balance between offshore, onshore, and automated processing capacity — with a clear view of improving agentic data operations quickly
• Define and own the operational metrics that matter: SLA performance, extraction accuracy, completeness rates, exception volumes, and cost per unit — and build the reporting infrastructure that makes them visible
• Design processes built for automation — every workflow you create should assume that AI handles more of it next week than it does today
• Drive measurable improvement in cost, quality, and cycle time quarter over quarter — and hold yourself to the same standard you set for the team
• Develop and enforce extraction standards across investor reporting, fund-level data, and underlying asset data document types
• Serve as the connective tissue between human expertise and AI — your team’s judgment directly informs how our models learn, and your operational design determines how far automation can reliably reach
• Build and maintain GP-level playbooks and extraction logic that can scale across every client invested in a fund, enabling the Canoe data standard

Director, Data Operations

Marketing

• Develop and oversee the overarching roadmap that positions Canoe as a thought leader in the alternative investment space.
• Partner closely with Sales, Relationship Management (RM), and Business Development to extract market insights and "front-line" feedback to ensure our content strategy addresses real-world client pain points.
• Architect a strategy for capturing and promoting high-impact client and partner stories.
• Guide our media strategy by managing two PR agencies (US and London).
• Act as the final authority for brand applications across the website, sales collateral, and digital channels to ensure visual and verbal consistency.
• Manage Canoe’s corporate social presence and lead our internal advocacy program to empower employees as brand ambassadors.
• Optimize third-party vendor profiles (e.g., G2, industry directories) to ensure our market-facing data is accurate and compelling.

Director of Corporate Marketing

Account Manager

• Be a Canoe product expert and understand how Canoe’s proprietary machine learning technology adds value to our clients workflows
• Be first line of contact for Canoe’s premier customers, answering cases related to how-to’s, troubleshooting, and training
• Schedule and attend recurring meetings with premier clients to discuss open support cases, product releases and other client concerns
• Attend quarterly client management review meetings to discuss overall Support matters specific to the client
• Infrequent ad-hoc requests that may involve coordinating Support outside of normal business hours
• Track and manage client specific metrics, reviewing for key trends
• Manage client effectively by setting client expectations when required

• Help shape customer marketing narratives, demonstrating our Client-First value by simplifying clients' experiences and crafting stories that deliver value to all stakeholders.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients to schedule interviews, prepare discussion guides, and move stories from initial conversation through final approval.
