Field Engineer

• Installation, repair, and testing of field equipment, in accordance with customer’s or manufacturer's specifications and company procedures.
• Diagnose and repair electrical/mechanical/controls equipment malfunctions and warranty repairs.
• Use a variety of diagnostic tools to identify problems, and implement necessary repairs including replacing faulty components, repairing wiring, and troubleshooting software issues.
• Perform assembly/modifications and overall quality defect resolution on all IE products and equipment.
• May occasionally travel to support areas throughout the country and possibly overseas.
• Completion of receiving Inspections with internal Regional Managers, subcontractors, and customers to protect IE from unjustified warranty claims.

• Performs preventative maintenance programs for an assortment of electrical/mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime as well as generating new revenue streams for the field service team.
• Ensures adherence to document processes for all work performed, including the nature of the problem, the steps taken to resolve the problem, and the parts used in order to create professional service reports.
• Response to client calls, emails and texts is a critical priority and should be responded to without hesitation.
• Maintain, inspect, and care for IE tools, equipment, and vehicles, - tool inventory completed monthly, vehicle inspection bi-weekly and monthly expense reports all due to the RSM on time.
• Adheres to all safety regulations and procedures onsite.
