About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, configure, and support Applied Materials equipment at customer sites.
- Learn to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and system-related issues with experienced engineers' support.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Work alongside senior engineers during equipment installations, upgrades, and customer projects.
- Build strong relationships with customers by providing professional technical support and service.
- Document service activities and communicate project updates to customers and internal teams.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Continuously develop technical knowledge through hands-on experience, training programs, and mentorship.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Completion of an Associate degree or Bachelor's Degree
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, or digital multimeters
- Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
- Ability to read and follow technical documentation and procedures
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a passport for business travel
- Ability to meet customer site safety and environmental requirements.
