About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide world-class support to customers through onsite visits, remote troubleshooting, email, phone, and in-house customer visits.
  • Manage assigned customer cases from initial assignment through successful resolution.
  • Respond quickly and professionally to customer inquiries, support requests, and equipment issues.
  • Build strong customer relationships while delivering an exceptional service experience.
  • Lead and support equipment installations, upgrades, and commissioning activities.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance and unscheduled equipment repairs.
  • Complete complex field upgrades, including mechanical modifications and software updates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software-related equipment issues.
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge to diagnose root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Support customers with equipment operation, maintenance, and best practices.
  • Assist with Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and customer demonstrations.
  • Partner with Engineering, Quality, Operations, and other teams to resolve complex issues and improve product performance.
  • Create and maintain service documentation, troubleshooting guides, and preventive maintenance procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to improve training programs, service procedures, and product quality.
  • Mentor and guide junior Field Service Technicians.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field and 2–4 years of field service experience; or Associate degree, technical/vocational training, or equivalent and 3–5 years of field service experience; or An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities in electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and software systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and engineering blueprints.
  • Familiarity with automated equipment and control systems.
  • Comfortable learning through technical documentation and video-based training.
  • Skilled in problem-solving, root cause analysis, and data interpretation.
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
  • Strong presentation and customer-facing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to drive internationally.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a passport without restrictions.
  • Willingness to travel 50% or more, including international destinations.
