Counselor

• The Admissions Counselor will respond to incoming telephone inquiries, oversee subsequent communications, and actively coordinate multiple phases of the admissions process for clients seeking longer-term behavioral health services provided by the Lifeskills.
• Responds to program inquiries in appropriate and effective manner, communicating knowledge of programs, prices, and admission protocols.
• Communicates with referents, program participants, and families appropriately and effectively.
• Uses the referral process as a means of building relationships with new referents.
• Coordinates and facilitates tours and communicates about program differentiators and key features to potential participants, families, and referents.
• Assesses incoming enrollment applications for potential treatment needs and refers to the appropriate level of care.
• Completes all required paperwork to facilitate a smooth enrollment process.
• Plans and coordinates all enrollments and act as the concierge to ensure that the admissions process proceeds smoothly.

• Gathers program pictures and client stories to use through the enrollment, social media, and digital forums.

Admissions Counselor

• Assist students and parents/learning coaches with course selection and scheduling.

• Develop and facilitate communication and education strategies by conducting one-on-one virtual and on-site group meeting by using various technologies in a professional manner
• Drive participants to take measurable actions to improve their retirement outcomes including plan enrollment, deferral increases, and rollovers from previous plans
• Achieve business results and facilitate impactful conversations while meeting service level agreements
• Consistently complete reporting requirements within required timeframes including logging meetings, attendees and outcomes in appropriate systems

• Provide assessment, coordination, case management and monitoring of mandatory participants, including licensed healthcare professionals and physicians with suspected issues of impairment.

Member Retention Counselor

• Participate in suicide and crisis intervention training
• De-escalate individuals in crisis by using best practices in the field of suicidology, as well as empathy and good contact techniques
• Connect individuals in crisis to appropriate resources
• Maintain appropriate levels of boundaries and confidentiality/privacy with individuals in crisis

Student-Crisis Counselor

• Ensure donors with abnormal or unexpected test results are deferred and appropriately notified.
• Create education materials regarding risk behaviors, precautions and possible future implications to health providing appropriate community referrals to donors and coach counselors how to educate donors sensitively.
• Counsel blood donors who require the most tact and sensitivity, including where there are changes in eligibility status and eligibility for reentry testing.
