• Lead onboarding and training
• Conduct live onboarding sessions for clinicians and back office teams, covering workflows, expectations, and readiness for launch
• Facilitate engaging, clear training sessions that build confidence and reduce friction early
• Adapt training based on audience (clinicians, QA teams, office staff, leadership)
• Support early adoption and stabilization
• Run support hours and targeted follow-ups during early launch periods
• Help customers navigate real-world issues as they begin using Apricot
• Drive clinician engagement
• Monitor usage patterns and identify where clinicians may be struggling or disengaged
• Reach out proactively to provide guidance, reinforcement, or clarification
• Build trust with clinicians and help them feel supported in their day-to-day work
• Improve enablement and experience
• Identify recurring questions, friction points, and workflow challenges
• Translate those insights into improvements to training content, support structure, and internal processes
• Contribute to rollout plans for new features, visit types, and workflow changes
• Collaborate cross-functionally
• Partner closely with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs and aligned timing
• Work with Product and Clinical teams to surface insights and improve the overall user experience
• Help create consistency in how Apricot supports and enables customers.

• Perform patient evaluations, this includes but not limited to - Good Faith exams, medical history, patient desired results, treatment plans and explanation of aesthetic results, risks and benefits.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation, such as patient charting.
• E-Prescribing medications if indicated as part of the treatment plan.
• Prioritize patient safety above all else.
• Honor and respect the diversity of our patients and their individual rights to care.
• Acknowledge and remedy mistakes and seek to maintain and advance your skills and understanding within the industry.
• Must be available Fri/Sat
• If interested in PT: Fri+Sat +1 weekday set schedule
• If interested in FT: Fri+Sat +3 weekdays

• We are looking for a variable commitment, up to 1 hr commitment per week
• Advise on policies and outcome metrics to ensure evidence‑based, family‑centered care.
• Act as the primary credentialed provider for the group when we are applying to commercial and Medicaid plans in your state.

Founding Clinician – Pulmonology

• Serves as a point of contact for inbound clinician communications directed to the MSL team as needed.
• Delivers proactive onboarding support for new ordering clinicians.
• Tracks early ordering behavior and identifies opportunities for education, clarification, or escalation.
• Responds to routine, noninterpretive questions related to test utilization, ordering workflows, and report navigation using approved resources; escalating nuanced or complex scientific discussions to the aligned MSL.
• Triages requests for test result discussions and scientific consults to the appropriate MSL.
• Prepares concise background summaries or context to support efficient hand-off of communication to the other MSLs as needed.
• Supports follow-up clinician interaction after MSL engagements as appropriate.
• Manages and organizes shared MSL inboxes, ensuring timely, professional, and accurate responses.
• Documents clinician interactions, follow-ups, and escalations in designated tracking systems or CRM tools.
• Collaborates closely with MSLs, Medical Affairs leadership, and cross-functional partners to ensure consistent, high-quality external engagement.
• Contributes to the continuous improvement of MSL workflows, templates, and clinician support materials.

MSL Support, Clinician Engagement

• Develop and refine AI-driven clinical tools across notes, risk adjustment (HCC capture), clinical decision support, and prior authorization using clinical expertise and prompt engineering
• Define what “clinically meaningful” output looks like for each product area, including acceptable error rates, failure modes, and quality thresholds
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineers, data scientists, clinicians) to integrate medical insights into AI models.
• Write, review, and optimize prompts to improve AI model performance in clinical contexts.
• Build and refine evaluation tools to streamline medical documentation quality assessment, including hallucination detection, omission detection, and medication safety checks
• Translate clinical needs into technical specifications and data models.
• Define clinical guardrail metrics and baselines; own pre/post evaluation requirements for any model update that affects clinical output
• Contribute to product development, revenue cycle management, and broader business initiatives
• Monitor clinical guideline update cycles and flag when product behavior needs to evolve based on new standards or payer policies

Clinician Scientist

• Provide highest quality patient-centered care.
• Manage your panel of patients through continuous remote care. In this, you will collaborate with our team of expert health coaches and be supported by the rest of our clinicians, including our endocrinology team.
• Be proactive in ensuring adequate follow up of patients and their concerns.
• Share after-hours coverage with our team.
• All Virta care is delivered remotely, so there is no such thing as an “in-house” call. Our team rotates weeks of calls such that you would cover about 1 in 8 weeks
• Actively participate in the development of new technology and protocols to improve patient care and outcomes.
• Demonstrates a proactive use of AI tools to improve individual output and efficiency
