Solutions Engineer

• Technical Support & Documentation: Support quoting, data organization, and creation of technical documentation for complex customer programs, including Bill of Materials (BOMs), Request for Quotes (RFQs), and specification reviews.
• Internal Solution Development: Assist with internal cost-modeling and quoting-tool development to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Supplier and Quality Coordination: Assist with supplier communication, tracking of quality documents, and other aspects of the solution lifecycle from award through delivery.
• Cross-Functional Learning & Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional meetings to gain a comprehensive understanding of the full solution lifecycle, bridging the gap between engineering, sales, and operations.
• Process Improvement Initiative: Lead a capstone mini-project aimed at enhancing process efficiency, such as automating a quoting workflow, developing a reporting dashboard, or streamlining a documentation process.
• DFx Fundamentals: Learn to answer basic customer technical questions related to DFx (Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Cost Reduction, etc.) and Xometry’s manufacturing capabilities.

Associate Solutions Engineer

Accounts Receivable

• Lead and manage Accounts Receivable projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all objectives are met within established timelines.
• Analyze Accounts Receivable data to identify trends, pinpoint process failures, and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate with various departments, including Sales, Customer Service, and Legal, to address and resolve complex billing issues and disputes.
• Conduct research and analysis to determine the facts and root causes of issues and disputes.
• Develop and implement process improvements to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Generate regular reports on project status, dispute trends, aging, and resolution status for management review.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all project and issue-related activities, communications, and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to provide support and share knowledge and best practices to improve overall performance.

Accounts Receivable Project Lead

• Partner with Account Executives to drive account growth and retention
• Discover, illuminate, digest, organize and execute major projects
• Join Account Executives in onsite visits with customers when appropriate
• Proactively identify and address potential manufacturing challenges (including DFM)
• Stay informed about upcoming customer projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with Xometry's capabilities
• Gather customer insights and feedback to inform sales strategies
• Assist Pre-Sales Engineering with knowledge gathering, digestion, and ultimately compiling correct and competitive quotes
• Combine customer knowledge, Xometry partner knowledge, and Xometry system knowledge to rapidly address customer needs and shepherd projects to delivery
• Provide project management and oversight on complex opportunities

Senior Solutions Engineer – UAV Applications

Digital Marketing

• Serve as clients’ primary point of contact for their Thomas Marketing Services programs (SEO, PPC, and/or website builds and rebuilds)
• Conduct client calls to review program KPIs, deliverable updates, and overall program progress
• Collect and document client goals and deliverable feedback for cross-functional teams (design, development, SEM, social media)
• Collaborate with internal creative teams to execute program deliverables including content and messaging for website pages, SEO, emails, blogs, eBooks, and social media
• Identify opportunities for program expansion or adjustments to better suit client needs
• Report to an Account Director on the Client Services team and work alongside other Associate Account Managers and Account Managers.
