About the role
- Achieve new business revenue goals in alignment with the sales leadership strategy
- Develop and execute individual sales plans to generate new business, contributing to the overall sales team’s strategy
- Collaborate closely with marketing, account management and clinical departments to leverage, content, data and subject matter expertise in the sales process
- Regularly share market intelligence and feedback with internal departments
- Maintain a high level of competitive industry knowledge while using exceptional communication and analytical skills to positively represent the company’s value in the marketplace
- Effectively prospect and professionally network with our target audiences using social media, referrals and other creative sales strategies
- Proactively focus on driving shorter sales cycles and increasing closed-won rates
- Demonstrate proficiency in the CRM database (HubSpot) to accurately record and manage the sales process
- Develop and deliver insight-driven presentations that help prospects reframe their approach to physician well-being and collaborate on a path forward
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business related field or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in a consultative new business development sales role (end to end, from prospect identification to contract negotiation and closing)
- Experience selling into complex environments such as large healthcare systems, where there are multiple decision makers and a long sales cycle (preferably sold into HR, clinical and/or C-suite leadership)
- Accustomed to multi-year subscription contracts with an average annual contract value of over $100K
- Experience managing and documenting the sales pipeline and process through CRM, preferably HubSpot
- Experience working closely with marketing on campaign pull-through and lead activation
- Effectively manage and report on sales plans and progress on a weekly basis
- Skilled in engaging with C-suite and other senior healthcare leaders in complex organizations
- Exceptional communication, active listening, and persuasive writing skills; high professionalism that represents effectively to our buyers (e.g., physicians and healthcare C-suite)
- Independent self-starter with the ability to create momentum in the sales pipeline
- Sound judgment with the ability to make critical decisions independently and elevate situations as appropriate
- Effective at conducting remote presentations to groups of varying size
- Strong organizational skills and ability to simultaneously manage multiple concurrent prospects and work priorities
- Creative and resourceful, with the potential to make a significant impact on meeting sales, profitability and organizational goals
- Flexible and adaptable to new and out-of-the-box approaches and sales tactics
- Deep knowledge of healthcare industry, specifically with providers and institutions
- Displays the company’s core values of client-centric approach, doing the right thing, optimism, and collaboration
- Ability to work and sell remotely
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, web presentation platforms and CRM database tools
- Ability to travel up to 10% to establish and close prospects and attend healthcare industry-related conferences
