Therapist

• Comprehends, interprets, and follows medical prescriptions for Occupational Therapy.
• Applies the accepted principles, methods, and procedures of measurement, prediction, and evaluation tests to assess patient’s strengths and limitations, and assists patient to achieve objective short and long term goals.
• Demonstrates knowledge of side effects and complications of services provided.
• Administers and interprets clinical occupational therapy services for assigned patients.
• Adjusts treatments according to patient's response to planned occupational therapy treatment protocol.

• Establish Project Deliverables & Scope: Gather and document detailed customer requirements, constraints, and assumptions using planning sessions, brainstorming, and focus groups.
• Develop Project Management Plan: Collaborate with stakeholders to create comprehensive project plans, including controls, schedules, tasks, teams, phases, and milestones.
• Manage, Monitor & Control Projects: Track project scope and performance using appropriate tools. Identify variances, implement corrective actions, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Change Management: Oversee changes to scope, schedule, and costs, ensuring updates are verified and documented per the change management plan. Facilitate customer acceptance of changes.

Project Manager – Strategic Facility Planning

• Deliver treatment procedures as directed by the supervising physical therapist, including patient preparation, education, and use of rehabilitation equipment
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting treatment progress and compliance with reimbursement and regulatory standards.
• Communicate patient condition changes to the physical therapist for possible treatment adjustments or further evaluation.
• Submit timely and accurate billing according to UHS policies.

Physical Therapy Assistant

• Performs secretarial duties, utilizing knowledge of medical terminology, hospital, and therapy procedures.
• Completes necessary communication for patient processing, including answering multi-line telephone system, scheduling patient appointments.
• Completes registration of all new patients, including identifying and completing demographic and insurance verification.
• Ensures authorization for insurance is obtained prior to patient’s initial visit, and continued authorization for additional treatment sessions.
• Schedules patient evaluation appointments and subsequent treatment sessions.
• Manages outpatient scheduling for clinicians daily.
• Prepares patient medical record prior to initial visit, and assists with ongoing medical record management.
