About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary administrative liaison for Nursing Administration leadership, coordinating communications, schedules, and priorities
  • Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for nursing leaders
  • Prepare agendas, meeting materials, presentations, and reports; record and distribute meeting minutes
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems, including records related to committees, contracts, policies, and correspondence
  • Provide administrative support for nursing committees, councils, and special projects
  • Assist with preparation and tracking of reports, metrics, statistics, and data
  • Support department operations by coordinating office supplies, equipment, subscriptions, and inventory control
  • Interface with internal departments (Human Resources, Finance, Quality, Compliance, IT, etc.)
  • Assist with onboarding coordination for new nursing leaders and administrative staff
  • Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
  • Support compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements related to Nursing Administration
  • Serve as a divisional timekeeper for Nursing Administration
  • Provide backup administrative coverage within Nursing Administration as needed
  • Perform additional administrative and coordinator-level duties in support of Nursing Administration as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate’s degree in administrative support or related field
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience at a program/project level providing administrative support
  • Five (5) years of experience working at an Executive Management level preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, i.e., Healthcare Administration, Communications preferred
  • Previous hospital experience preferred
  • Previous administrative experience preferred
  • Notary Public preferred
