About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the primary administrative liaison for Nursing Administration leadership, coordinating communications, schedules, and priorities
- Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments for nursing leaders
- Prepare agendas, meeting materials, presentations, and reports; record and distribute meeting minutes
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems, including records related to committees, contracts, policies, and correspondence
- Provide administrative support for nursing committees, councils, and special projects
- Assist with preparation and tracking of reports, metrics, statistics, and data
- Support department operations by coordinating office supplies, equipment, subscriptions, and inventory control
- Interface with internal departments (Human Resources, Finance, Quality, Compliance, IT, etc.)
- Assist with onboarding coordination for new nursing leaders and administrative staff
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
- Support compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational requirements related to Nursing Administration
- Serve as a divisional timekeeper for Nursing Administration
- Provide backup administrative coverage within Nursing Administration as needed
- Perform additional administrative and coordinator-level duties in support of Nursing Administration as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Associate’s degree in administrative support or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience at a program/project level providing administrative support
- Five (5) years of experience working at an Executive Management level preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, i.e., Healthcare Administration, Communications preferred
- Previous hospital experience preferred
- Previous administrative experience preferred
- Notary Public preferred
