About the role
- Serve as point of contact for customers across inbound calls, online chat, social media and email
- Provide exceptional customer service, prioritising quality over strict targets
- Show ownership and accountability in offering solutions that help customers
- Maintain high service standards and continually improve customer experience
- Respond to customer complaints and escalate issues as necessary
- Support continuous improvement within the contact centre and seek to improve processes/workflows
- Work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
- Complete a 6-week office-based training programme to gain required skills and knowledge
Requirements
- Working in a contact centre environment is not essential; understand what great customer service looks like
- Comfortable talking to customers via phone, email, live chat and social media
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working in a changing environment
- Resilience to handle irate and unsatisfied customers on money-related issues
- Basic IT skills to navigate company laptops (usually Apple Mac) and systems
- Ability to commit to 6 weeks full-time office-based training (two training schedule options)
- Availability for evening shifts: 25 hours/week between 5pm–12am, Monday–Sunday
