Account Manager

• Increase sales in an assigned geographical area (based on state lines and/or zip codes) and maximize sales of all SIGVARIS products in assigned geographical territory.
• Establish and foster positive relationships with key customers, both retail and physicians, to build and strengthen their business and the SIGVARIS brand.
• Identify key physicians, customers, hospitals/IDNs/Medical Centers/VAs and be knowledgeable of competitors and their products.
• Develop and utilize a structured itinerary/zone plan for travel and effectively meet with key decision makers.
• Use virtual communication tools (MS Teams, Zoom) with customers and colleagues; enter detailed call activity into sales application tools.
• Run and analyze sales reports to identify trends; run searches to identify new customers (dealers/physicians).
• Keep abreast of compression reimbursements related to State and regional insurance plans and monitor competition by gathering marketplace information.
• Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
• Participate in medical conventions and/or trade shows when needed; prepare and submit weekly Planning and Activities report to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Maximize cost savings and ensure expenses are below budget; demonstrate effective presentation skills and foster positive morale among staff.
• Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SIGVARIS policies, industry standards, ISO 13485 standards, and Federal, State and local laws; maintain accurate records to support Quality System.
