• Incorporate 5S and 6S principles and controls throughout the departments.

• Utilize inventory control measures such as cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy between the physical stockroom/warehouse and the MRP system.
• Ensure stockroom materials are picked, prepared, and delivered to manufacturing to meet production schedules with a high level of quality and accuracy.
• Establish, modify, and communicate standardized work, policies, and procedures, and lead continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
• Own department performance metrics, including data collection, analysis of actual performance versus targets, and development or refinement of KPIs.
• Report on metrics related to activities such as cycle counting and on-time delivery to internal and external customers.

• Verify loads are properly secured prior to movement or shipment.

Material Handler

Administration

• Draft moderate to complex, non-routine contractual instruments.
• Apply expert-level knowledge of contracting concepts, the Uniform Commercial Code, public contract acquisition law and regulations, and relevant international contract law.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Coordinate and manage contract volume in support of major or complex proposals.
• Review complex domestic, international, and commercial proposals for compliance with RFP requirements, with emphasis on identifying and mitigating proposal and execution risk.
• Draft and revise contract language, including terms and conditions, in response to RFP requirements.
