About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide qualified operational and strategic advice on export control matters
Handle export permits and applications to Swedish and foreign authorities
Classify hardware, software, and information under applicable export control legislation
Monitor and report licenses and deliveries to relevant authorities
Implement and further develop internal directives, processes, and working methods
Map and improve existing methods to make export control work more efficient
Train and support the business on export control matters
Monitor and analyze developments in international regulations, especially within the EU and USA
Collaborate closely with colleagues throughout Saab
Drive work-method development and efficiency improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience working with export control
Confidence interpreting and applying export control regulations
Relevant academic background in engineering, law, or equivalent
Excellent spoken and written Swedish and English
Structured and meticulous approach
High integrity and strong sense of responsibility
Ability to independently drive matters forward while collaborating closely with others
Strong communication and advisory skills
Experience building trust and relationships internally and externally
Ability to pass and be approved under applicable security-protection regulations
Certain citizenship requirements may apply for security-classified positions
Experience in business and process development is advantageous
Knowledge of Saab products within the Dynamics business area is advantageous
