• Perform weekly audits of employee transfers and new hires to review employee taxes are set up properly and work with corresponding parties to resolve any issues.
• Update State Unemployment Insurance (SUI) rates in Workday and Smart Compliance for audit and compliance purposes.
• Review and update Federal Exempt Employees.
• Process IRS Lock-in Letters ensuring employee tax profiles comply with IRS directives.

• The Payroll Compliance Analyst II manages the calculation, analysis, and reporting of payroll, union benefits, and prevailing wage activities, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing across complex regulatory and collective bargaining environments.
• The incumbent interprets and applies collective bargaining agreements and prevailing wage requirements, performs audits and reconciliations of payroll data and deductions, and resolves discrepancies related to wage rates, classifications, and benefits.
• The Payroll Compliance Analyst II oversees preparation and submission of required reporting, supports audit readiness through thorough documentation, and contributes to process improvements, compliance monitoring, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• The incumbent collaborates closely with HR, Finance, HRIS, payroll teams, field leadership, and external partners to validate data, address issues, and drive operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

• Review and interpret Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) ratifications and apply as needed resulting in timely and accurate employee’s payroll.
• Prepare and analyze union health & welfare, and pension contribution calculations and monthly reporting ensuring compliance with contracted deadlines.
• Maintain, analyze, and report accurate union dues deductions as instructed by local unions.
