Counselor

• Initiate process for collecting prepays due and perform follow up activity to ensure maximum collection is achieved.
• Identify hospital, public financial assistance programs for patients unable to meet their financial obligations.
• Work with Case Management, Clinical Staff, Medicaid Vendor, and Family Independence Agency to assist patients and families in completing assistance program applications and determine eligibility and coverage.
• Provide assistance to uninsured patients and families in completing and filing Medicaid or assistance program applications with the appropriate agency.
• Counsel patients regarding insurance benefits and recommend alternative sources of payment and financial assistance when appropriate.
• Contact/check insurance carriers and websites for non-automated eligibility and act as an advocate for the patient.
• Notify manager, physician and servicing department of possible delay of service for any elective, urgent admissions, procedures and scheduled diagnostic testing which have not been approved prior to the date of service.
• Perform all other duties and projects as assigned.

• Partner closely with our business leaders to implement new and innovative approaches to developing talent pipelines
• Onboard, mentor and grow geographically dispersed recruiters to build inclusion across diverse teams and build a cohesive culture across the group
• Development and performance management of team members (1:1's, coaching, career development, and performance reviews)
• Strong collaboration with the other Talent Acquisition leaders, the HR organization as well as other cross-functional groups across the organization
• Create and define SMART goals focused on the team focused on new employment brand and organization initiatives.
• Execute project management skills for key team improvement initiatives which will include: drive project plan, identify key areas to improve project plan, collaborating with cross-functional groups in HR, report on results, and executing change management plans
• Proactively review business needs and partner with leaders to think about their long-term talent plans, help them forecast talent needs, gaps, etc., based on historical data and future growth plans
