About the role

  • Lead and inspire a team of designers, copywriters, freelancers, and agencies to deliver impactful creative that advances both brand and business goals
  • Translate business objectives into creative strategies that balance brand storytelling with performance-driven marketing to achieve measurable outcomes
  • Champion experimentation with new formats including motion, interactive content, AI-generated creative, and localized storytelling
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to test, measure, and optimize creative, applying insights to continuously improve performance
  • Collaborate with Product, Web, and Game Design leads to ensure consistent brand expression across all customer touchpoints
  • Establish and champion best practices across performance marketing, paid media, social, email, and other channels
  • Implement workflow processes that streamline creative intake, prioritize effectively, and ensure on-time delivery
  • Elevate the creative function from a service model to a consultative partner model influencing broader business outcomes
  • Manage budgets, vendors, and freelancers, balancing quality and cost-efficiency to maximize ROI
  • Build processes that increase efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and maintain creative quality at scale
  • Nurture professional growth of team through mentorship, feedback, and career development opportunities

Requirements

  • Proven leadership experience in managing creative teams within a fast paced, high-volume environment, ideally with both agency and in-house experience
  • Strong creative judgment and storytelling ability, with an eye for design, copy and platform best practices
  • Solid understanding of growth marketing and performance-driven creative, including testing frameworks and optimization
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with experience building processes that streamline intake, prioritization and on-time delivery
  • Comfort with campaign data and insights, and ability to translate results into actionable creative strategies
  • Expertise in budgeting, resource allocation, and vendor negotiations
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to use data and insights to guide creative decisions
  • Deep understanding of brand, design, and copy standards with a passion for quality and innovation
  • Strong curiosity to stay on top of emerging trends in creative strategy and team productivity enhancement
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with experience working across marketing, product, and data teams
  • A people-first management style that fosters team engagement, mentorship and professional growth
  • Familiarity with tools: Miro, Monday.com, Jira, Wrike
