Mechanical Engineer

• To be an expert in technical aspects of Audio-visual installation and operation in CT Ireland
• To help design and draw system layouts/configurations for tenders and projects, including mechanical and electrical drawings.
• To provide technical expertise to the Sales Representatives when scoping a project.
• To help source hardware solutions to meet project designs.
• To provide cabling schedules, cable labeling, IP network tables.
• To work with Project Management Office, Install Engineers, Commissioning Engineers, Pre, and Post Sales Tech when clarifications or design updates are required.
• To support the Technical Director in all design aspects and to backup during times of leave
• Attend site visits when required to gather more information for the design or help Sales Representatives explain technical aspects of the designs.
• Comply with Companys Quality Management System requirements i.e., perform your work according to your process documents, procedures and maintaining document information/completing department forms/records as required.
• Understand and apply our quality policy statements in all aspects of your work.
• Contribute towards achieving company objectives
• Ensure that the needs and requirements of companys internal staff and customers are understood and delivered.
• Help develop and improve the companys internal processes and management system by reporting corrective actions, updates, and improvement ideas.
