About the role

  • Architect and operate paid acquisition across Meta, Google/YouTube, TikTok, Snap, X, DSPs, podcasts, and AppLovin
  • Own the Meta ecosystem end to end: buying, daily optimization, creative direction, account hygiene
  • Command Google/YouTube as a strong second engine beside Meta
  • Seize control of creative direction: UGC strategies, short-form video, AI-generated ads, agency shoots
  • Build resilient account structures, escalation playbooks, and fast recovery systems for bans and disapprovals
  • Establish dashboards, pacing, and incrementality reads to measure business impact
  • In-house currently outsourced agency functions and manage external agencies like internal teams
  • Scale profitably focusing on acquiring high-LTV customers rather than lowest CAC
  • Work with data team to shape offers, pricing, subscription plays, and retention-driven acquisition
  • Diversify into at least two new channels with validate-or-kill frameworks
  • Ideate and test next-gen landing pages with CRO frameworks, cold-traffic funnels, and A/B rigor
  • Report directly to the CEO and lead build-out of in-house media buying and creative iteration department

Requirements

  • Proven performance at scale: $100M+ lifetime managed, with $10M+ in a single brand or account
  • Multi-channel operator: strong in both Meta and Google/YouTube
  • Restricted category experience: DTC ecommerce required; supplements, alcohol, finance, CBD, or telehealth a strong plus
  • Hands-on creative operator: ability to brief, select, and iterate winning creative (UGC, short-form, AI-generated, higher-production shoots)
  • CRO fluency: run page iterations that moved CVR
  • Attribution experience with modern stacks such as TripleWhale, GA4, Mixpanel, and MMMs
  • Leadership: able to coach junior buyers while staying in-platform
  • Verifiable spend and outcomes, via references and/or case studies (non-negotiable)
  • Portfolio of ads with metrics and landing pages you have shaped (non-negotiable)
  • Demonstrated success in DTC, ideally in restricted categories (non-negotiable)
  • Nice to have: track record scaling from ~$50K/day to $150K+/day
  • Nice to have: built out UGC and creator systems: sourcing, briefing, feedback loops
  • Nice to have: DSP and offline testing experience
  • Nice to have: previous wins in hemp, supplements, or telehealth
