About the role

  • You will own and advance Mural’s social media presence through the meticulous development and management of our content calendar to ensure a consistent and engaging stream of content across platforms.
  • You'll be the guardian of our brand's voice and tone across all social channels, crafting compelling narratives and eye-catching visuals that resonate with our B2B audience.
  • Leveraging your deep knowledge of platform-specific best practices, storytelling, AI-driven content creation, and emerging trends, you will lead the development of compelling visuals, videos, and narratives for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, Reddit, and YouTube.
  • You will utilize audience insights for each platform to ensure our messaging reaches the right audience, through the most effective channels, at the perfect time.
  • This role is ideal for an organized self-starter with a passion for storytelling and a knack for captivating audiences.
  • You'll be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, orchestrating the distribution of a wide variety of content, analyzing performance, and continually optimizing our approach to drive engagement and leads.
  • Reporting to the Sr. Director of Integrated Communications, you will support the end-to-end social media content development process, from ideation to distribution, within our growing content ecosystem.
  • Produce, curate, and oversee the social media distribution of all published content (images, videos, blogs, articles and audio) that captures attention and aligns with our brand and customer targeting strategies.
  • Own and manage the end-to-end social media content calendar, from ideation and planning to scheduling and publishing across all platforms.
  • Use our robust stack of AI-powered tools and platforms to brainstorm, create, and optimize content quickly and efficiently, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality, targeted material.
  • Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice and tone across all social media communications.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users, while cultivating marketing qualified leads (MQLs) and traffic to the company website.
  • Analyze social media data and metrics, reporting on performance and deriving actionable insights to optimize future content and strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices.
  • Leverage Hootsuite to develop a pipeline of shareable owned and third party content, enabling employees to actively promote and represent our brand.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, and other teams to ensure work is done on time and has cohesive messaging.
  • Collaborate directly with the leadership team to develop provoking social media content that helps drive leads and captivates their audiences.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in social media management, preferably within B2B SaaS, technology, or PLG-focused organizations, with a strong track record of growing social channels, increasing engagement, and executing impactful social campaigns.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing comprehensive social strategies that support business goals, foster brand awareness, and drive measurable results.
  • Extensive experience in content planning, creation, and curation across all major platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, YouTube), with a proven ability to deliver compelling multi-format content (copy, graphics, video, live streams, etc.) tailored to a B2B audience.
  • Proficiency in using social media analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, native platform analytics) to gather actionable insights, measure KPIs, and inform ongoing strategy optimization.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating success in building brand voice and tone, crafting narratives, and establishing thought leadership through social media storytelling.
  • Hands-on experience collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including marketing, communications, design, product, and customer success teams to create cohesive brand campaigns and amplify company messaging.
  • Familiarity with social media advertising and paid promotion tactics, including campaign setup, audience targeting, performance tracking, and budget management.
  • Advanced organizational and project management skills, with an ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Clear, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong understanding of grammar, style, and visual consistency.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest social media trends, platform updates, and best practices, with demonstrated curiosity and initiative in exploring emerging tools and channels.
