About the role

  • As a Social Content Manager at Anchour, you’ll bring brands to life on social — creating, publishing, and optimizing content that feels native, culturally relevant, and impossible to scroll past.
  • You’ll own the calendar, generate fresh ideas, and produce original posts that resonate across industries like finance, retail, food & beverage, and beyond.
  • You’ll be equal parts creator and strategist: producing platform-specific content yourself while collaborating with designers, motion, and copywriters to deliver larger campaigns.
  • You’ll stay ahead of cultural shifts and platform trends across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Facebook — ensuring our clients are not just keeping up, but leading the conversation.
  • Strategy & Planning Develop and manage monthly content calendars across multiple client accounts. Translate brand goals into smart content pillars, posting cadences, and campaign ideas.
  • Spot and interpret cultural trends and emerging formats to keep content fresh, relevant, and timely.
  • Execution & Collaboration Produce platform-native posts (TikToks, Reels, Stories, Shorts, carousels). Capture and edit light content (in-app video, phone-first capture). Collaborate with designers, motion, and copywriters to deliver polished, campaign-level creative. Schedule and publish posts in Sprout Social or directly in-platform, ensuring each piece feels tailored for its audience.
  • Optimization & Engagement Track performance weekly and surface insights that lead to measurable engagement and growth. Experiment with new formats, captions, and visuals to continually refine content strategies. Monitor comments, mentions, and DMs to identify opportunities for proactive engagement and storytelling.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of experience managing multi-channel organic social media (agency or brand side), with proven results in driving engagement and growth.
  • A strong portfolio or work samples that showcase platform-native content (TikToks, Reels, Shorts, Stories, carousels) you’ve created and managed.
  • Hands-on ability to ideate, film, edit, and publish social-first content — from scrappy in-app video edits to polished campaign assets.
  • Strong understanding of how to translate brand strategy into channel-specific content pillars, cadences, and messaging frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to spot and interpret trends, memes, and cultural moments — and connect them to brand storytelling in a way that feels authentic.
  • Experience working within scheduling and publishing tools (Sprout Social, Later, Hootsuite, etc.), as well as light community management.
  • Comfort collaborating with designers, copywriters, and motion artists to produce larger campaigns, while also owning your own scrappy content production.
  • Knowledge of social analytics and the ability to interpret performance metrics to optimize creative approaches.
  • Familiarity with paid social is a plus (boosting, audience targeting, campaign setup).
  • Practical knowledge of how to use AI tools for research, ideas, and efficiency, and just as importantly, when not to use them or how to refine AI outputs into original work.
  • Clear, confident communication — able to pitch ideas, present content calendars, and explain creative decisions to both clients and internal teams.
