Commercial Manager – National House Builder Team

Controller

• Develop and maintain Procurement reporting dashboards, pulling together a wide range of metrics (including price indices, external market data, product spend, purchase quantity, and risk
• Development and Management of the Procurement area on the intranet, enabling easy access to key Procurement information and the dissemination of key Procurement information
• Extract and transform raw data in order to create detailed analysis, insights and visualisation presentations for key stakeholders ranging up to Executive level reporting
• Investigate and provide data analysis and insights relating to potential breaches of Procurement and Finance policies and procedures, to achieve cost savings for the business
• Set up new vendors and materials on the ERP platform and implement price changes
• Setting up and maintaining new vendors via agreed processes
• Proactive development and management of the ‘Approved Supplier List’ (ASL)
• Actively manage supplier performance & risk through ownership of the Anydata system
• Investigate and resolve invoice queries on the Medius and Esker invoice management systems, using the ERP platforms, running reports and liaising with suppliers, sites and accounts payable

• Develop data collecting/recording mechanisms and then provide analysis relating to the Carbon Trust Science Based Targets Scope 3 requirements
• Conduct materials historic price evolution exercises, compiling analysis and presentation of the outcomes
• Liaise with sites to ensure that key volume requirements are communicated to suppliers using forecast information available
• NCR (Non-conformance reports) – Developing process and documents, registering on the system, liaising with sites and suppliers, producing regular insight reports

Data Governance Controller

Account Manager

• Develop and implement a focused territory Business Plan based upon the territory sales budget for all commercial product catalogues.
• Promote early pre-tender engagement, prepare and present project related value propositions, installation benefits and on site product training.
• Work closely with the Divisional Trading Manager and sales colleagues to ensure national priorities, successes, and focus is maintained.
• Identify, monitor, and report competitor activity and market trends.
• Assist the Company at Exhibitions, Trade Events, CPD Seminars, Tool Box Talks, Presentations and Corporate events.
• Promote and deliver sales growth of NPD and specialist products.
• Use and monitor KPIs, systems, ABI leads, project pipelines and CRM reporting effectively.
• Take responsibility to maintain existing relationships and manage contractors, sub contractors and attend regular business reviews.

Regional Sales Manager

Affiliate Manager

• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with business unit leaders and stakeholders to understand their objectives, challenges, and technology needs
• Act as a trusted advisor to business units, providing insights and recommendations on how technology can support and enhance their operations
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of technology solutions and gather feedback
• Work within a team of 4 to implement and support cloud-based technology, ensuring compliance, security, and excellent customer service for over 1500 IT users

IT Business Partner

• Lead and manage a small field sales team (team of two) for Marshalls Aggregates & Block Stone
• Develop and execute sales strategy to exceed targets and drive market expansion across Yorkshire and Lancashire
• Personally conduct field sales activity and customer visits across assigned postcodes (DE, DN, HD, LN, NG, S, WF)
• Responsible for financial performance of the Region against agreed targets
• Develop long-term trading relationships with key customers and conduct regular business reviews
• Identify and manage opportunities, secure specifications and sales for Aggregate products from Stainton/Maltby Quarry via in-person and virtual contact
• Promote Marshalls products and services to support national sales targets in line with the business plan
• Split working week between Stainton/Maltby Quarry site, field, home office and Head Office in Elland as required

Senior Sales Manager

• Deliver the National Commercial strategy for Main Contractor and Housebuilder key accounts
• Proactively develop profitable commercial business opportunities for Marshalls across defined Key Housebuilder and Contractor accounts
• Create demand and drive specification of Marshalls products and systems
• Maximise profitability by achieving the optimal blend of price, volume and product mix
• Report directly to the Divisional Trading Manager
• Lead engagement with head office pre-construction and design teams to identify and track main projects in the region
• Use Barbour ABI to track project progress and keep shared documents up-to-date
• Get in early with project teams and specification managers and manage preferred supplier relationships
• Lead negotiations with key stakeholders and leverage the company value proposition regionally
