• Own customer and partner issues end-to-end - from first contact through to resolution

Senior Product Engineer – Backend

Account Manager

• Drive client growth: expand usage across new countries, product modules and eligible populations, and build clear account plans, forecasts and expansion roadmaps.
• Spot upsell and expansion triggers early, then coordinate internally to execute them.
• Own strategic relationships as the primary contact for post-launch Embed clients, building multi-level relationships across their Product, Ops and Commercial teams.
• Run structured QBRs that align stakeholders and drive long-term partnership value.
• Own client-level escalations (not consumer queries), coordinating resolution across Product, Integrations, Expansion & Benefits, and Embed Operations, and keeping clients informed through issues or delays.
• Track account performance across revenue, lives, satisfaction and operational health, surfacing trends and risks early and turning them into clear action.
• Champion the voice of the client: distil feedback into insights for Product, Expansion and Ops, and help shape the Embed partnership model and lifecycle as we scale.

Growth Marketing

• Own the number: converting our Payroll partners' customer base into live Kota policies, end to end.
• Position and package Kota so it converts inside our partners' products → the messaging, in-product copy and placement that turn a benefits section into sign-ups, whether Kota builds that experience or a partner builds it on our API.
• Make sure customers discover Kota at the right moments, and optimise every step from first impression through to sign-up.
• Build repeatable enablement for partner teams → plug-and-play decks, call scripts and campaigns they can run under their own brand.
• Build lifecycle and re-engagement campaigns (email, sequences, retargeting) that pull people back and convert them.
• Design and productise the partner launch playbook so every new partner and cohort ramps predictably.
• Build a best-in-class self-serve experience that converts, backed by our sales team for higher-touch deals.
• Instrument it all: define the funnel, run experiments, read the data, iterate.

Associate

• Run requirements discovery with new and existing providers: ask the right questions, work out what data needs to flow where, and document the specs engineers build from.
• Map integration flows end to end, turning provider requirements, product capabilities and customer needs into clear diagrams.
• Support go-lives by testing flows against agreed specs, coordinating sign-off across teams, and getting everything documented and production-ready before a provider goes live.
• Join governance meetings to track how integrations are performing and catch issues early.
• Keep integration documentation accurate and easy for internal teams to use.
• Work across Benefits, Compliance, Engineering, Operations and Carrier Partnerships to troubleshoot, capture new requirements, and spot ways to make the process more scalable.

• Lead and manage the BenOps team.

• Oversee customer onboarding and screening, owning due diligence on businesses and individuals in order for them to use Kota, covering multiple regulated entities
• Build out transaction monitoring setup, particularly as we grow payment flows to support new customer journeys while maintaining robust compliance
• Build our and improve standard operating procedures across KYC, TM and screening to align with regulatory requirements and company risk appetite
• Collaborate with second line of defence on investigations, escalations and reporting to authorities
• Support compliance-related audits, outlining our processes and providing all required materials to achieve excellent outcomes
