• This role is accountable for leading all Indirect Services categories for Depuy Synthes for the global procurement organization representing approximately $2.2 B in annual spend.
• The Sr. Director will build the team, develop the vision, strategy, and implementation plan for these categories to meet the long-range requirements of the business and deliver maximum value for DePuy Synthes (DPS).

• Lead the global procurement digital strategy, global process architecture, enterprise procurement policies, third‑party risk management practices, and core functional capabilities.
• Own and evolve the Procurement Strategic Framework, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, business priorities, and long‑term value creation goals.
• Shape end‑to‑end Global Process Ownership for: Source‑to‑Contract (S2C) Payments & Experience (PEX) Spend Management Strategy, including strategy definition, process architecture, change management, capability design, and global deployment.
• Own and manage the procurement technology and process budget, ensuring disciplined investment decisions and measurable return on investment.
• Enable the procurement function through best‑in‑class digital capabilities that simplify, automate, and standardize processes while delivering traceable value creation via digital platforms, data science, analytics, and reporting.

Compliance

• Serve as the senior legal advisor on U.S. and global regulatory law matters affecting medical devices and medical technology across the DePuy Synthes portfolio.
• Provide strategic legal counsel on regulatory submissions, product clearances and approvals, post‑market surveillance, field actions including recalls, and enforcement actions.
• Partner with Regulatory Affairs and Quality leadership to interpret and apply FDA, EU MDR/IVDR, and other global regulatory requirements.
• Serve on Quality Review Boards.
