About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supports the development, execution, and optimization of pricing strategies across MedTech business.
- Provides analytical expertise and business insights to support pricing decisions, commercial initiatives, contract negotiations, and market access activities.
- Develops pricing analyses, business cases, scenario models, and market assessments that enable profitable growth and sustainable market competitiveness.
- Contributes to pricing governance processes, supports pricing excellence initiatives, and provides data-driven recommendations to enhance commercial decision-making across the region.
- Conducts pricing analyses to support commercial decision-making, pricing optimization, and business growth initiatives.
- Analyzes pricing trends, product performance, customer purchasing patterns, and market dynamics to identify risks and opportunities.
- Prepares regular pricing reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses for business stakeholders.
- Monitors pricing performance metrics and provides actionable recommendations to improve business outcomes.
- Supports the implementation of regional and local pricing strategies in alignment with business objectives.
- Assists in evaluating pricing proposals, discount structures, tender opportunities, and customer agreements.
- Contributes to the development of pricing recommendations through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Supports execution of pricing governance processes and ensures adherence to pricing policies and approval workflows.
- Develops financial models, business cases, and scenario simulations to assess pricing changes, reimbursement impacts, and commercial opportunities.
- Builds and maintains analytical tools and market models supporting portfolio management and new product launches.
- Supports forecasting and profitability assessments related to pricing initiatives.
- Partners with Sales, Finance, Strategic Accounts, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Market Access teams to support pricing-related projects.
- Contributes pricing insights during commercial planning, tender preparation, and strategic business reviews.
- Identifies opportunities to improve pricing processes, reporting capabilities, and analytical tools.
- Supports automation initiatives using tools such as Excel, Power Query, Power BI, and other digital solutions.
- Contributes to pricing excellence projects and adoption of best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in pricing strategy and analysis within a complex business environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex pricing challenges and deriving actionable insights from data.
- Proficiency in storytelling and data visualization, with experience creating impactful presentations for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement by implementing best practices and innovative pricing models.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate complex market dynamics to inform pricing decisions.
- Experience working in a highly matrixed organization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Creative and strategic thinker with a strong ability to generate new ideas and approaches to pricing.
- Exceptional communication skills, effectively utilizing written, visual, and verbal methods to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
