QA Engineer

The QA Engineer III will find bugs, defects, and regressions. This role will also design, implement, execute, and debug test cases and/or automated test scripts. Validate and document completion of testing and development. Verify fixes and helps ensure successful releases by planning and executing test activities for exploratory and regression testing.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a thorough understanding of our products or technology and act as a knowledge resource for colleagues. They will also maintain a positive and professional attitude while helping ensure successful releases by planning and executing test activities for exploratory and regression testing.
Review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Develop testing plans and testing scenarios in accordance with the functional requirements and detail technical specifications provided by the design team to ensure code generated by the development team conforms to the specified requirements
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities within a cross-functional development team
Design, develop, and execute test cases and/or automation scripts using provided tools
Identify, record, document, and track bugs
Perform regular regression, exploratory, and system testing as required
Monitor and maintain bug backlogs for accuracy
Maintain and update test instances as necessary
