Financial Planning and Analysis

• Prepare and post journal entries in accordance with U.S. GAAP, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
• Perform detailed monthly account reconciliations and investigate and resolve all reconciling items in a timely manner.
• Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure all deadlines are met and financial data is complete and accurate.
• Conduct financial statement analysis to identify trends and variances, providing insights to the accounting and finance leadership team.

• The Photonics Technical Lead (PTL) plays a strategic role in shaping and advancing Infleqtion's integrated photonics capabilities.
• Responsible for developing and executing the photonics roadmap across a portfolio of projects spanning photonic integrated circuits (PICs), laser systems, and integrated photonic subsystems for quantum technologies.
• Collaborate extensively with multidisciplinary teams across Infleqtion's UK, US, and Australian operations.
• Oversee technical project execution, leading photonics research and development activities, managing technical personnel, developing external partnerships.
• Identify opportunities to transition photonics technologies into commercial products.
• Set technical objectives, assess feasibility, manage technical risks, and support project delivery.
• Present technical updates, milestone reviews, design reviews to stakeholders.
• Lead the design, simulation, layout, fabrication, testing, and packaging of silicon photonics PICs.

• Develop, test, and characterise optical frequency comb systems for quantum technology applications.
• Support design and testing of photonic components relevant to comb generation, including resonators, lasers, modulators, passive devices, and integrated photonic circuits.
• Build and operate optical test setups for frequency comb characterisation, stabilisation, and performance validation.
• Perform laser characterisation, including optical spectra, frequency noise, relative intensity noise, linewidth, and stability measurements.
• Characterise modulated laser systems, including high-speed waveform measurements and RF/optical measurement setups.
• Develop automated test methods and data analysis workflows for frequency comb and photonic device characterisation.

• Owning opto-mechanical subsystems within an established hardware architecture and identifying technical risks, trade-offs, and long-term scalability constraints.
• Executing on defined mechanical design and integration of precision components and assemblies supporting lasers, optics, vacuum-integrated components, state-of-the-art sensors (SPAD, EMCCD, sCMOS), high-speed photodetectors, DMDs, SLMs, AODs, EOMs, metasurface-based optics, and photonic integrated circuits (PICs).
• Using emerging optical technologies from academia and industry and contributing to their physical implementation within Infleqtion’s next-generation neutral-atom quantum computing architectures.
• Generating stability, tolerance, and error budgets for opto-mechanical systems to ensure performance across environmental and operational conditions.
• Collaborating closely with physicists and optical, mechanical, electrical, software, and systems engineers to support the full experimental and hardware development lifecycle, from early research demonstrations through integrated, scalable, multi-generation systems.
• Advancing design-for-manufacturing and design-for-assembly considerations early in the product lifecycle using data-driven methodologies, including model-based and hands-on root-cause investigations, corrective actions, and improved design and laboratory practices.
• Using high-fidelity opto-mechanical simulations and executing on experimental strategies to characterize optical stability, drift, noise sources, and scaling limits, ranging from back-of-the-envelope calculations to detailed finite element analysis (FEA) encompassing tolerance stack-ups, thermal behavior, structural stiffness, and vibration sensitivity.
