Supply Chain

• verifies the actual material matches the bar code and description on the Bill of Material
• verifies the actual material matches both bar codes on the pallet
• verifies the expiration date of the material
• verifies the condition of the packaging of the material
• verifies the material is staged to the appropriate staging bin location
• checks that the actual pallet quantity coming into a room matches the quantity on the bar code label
• Maintains a high level of safety awareness for an accident-free work place
• Reports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety-related issues to Management
• Immediately issues materials to appropriate job numbers as the material is brought into the production room
• Immediately informs the Production Supervisor or Coordinator of discrepancies between the bar code quantity and actual quantity
• Requisitions materials and/or ingredients from warehouse personnel
• Runs variance report and compares material used to material staged and provides the information to the supervisor or the lead on a timely basis
• Assists Production Leads to ensure pallet quantities match tag quantities for any material returning to the warehouse
• Prints and monitors bin aging reports throughout shift to identify problems and resolves them immediately
• Suggests changes to procedures that may increase the accuracy of inventory
• Assists leads in ensuring the staging bin inventory is accurate at the end of each production shift
• Maintains area free of debris
• Suggests ways to control labor and supply costs as well as improve processes
• Ensures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement
• Ensures that all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) are followed
• Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Accomplishes all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested

Supply Chain Clerk – 2nd Shift

Production Engineer

• Operate the Production Line with an ownership mentality focused on improving performance, reducing waste, and improving quality.
• Drive the day to day operations of the production line.
• Provide feedback on the training/certification program of manufacturing personnel.
• Participate in troubleshooting and solving problems with existing equipment/processes/products.
• Improve, modify and upgrade processes to reduce costs and enhance quality to meet customer satisfaction.
• Identify methods to reduce variation in the processes.
• Make recommendations and implement improvements in product quality.
• Ensure a safe working environment by following safety rules and ensuring the safety culture.
• Conducts food safety and defense self-inspections and acts on deficiencies.
• Develop a strong technical understanding of mechanical equipment used in a manufacturing environment (drives, motors, sensors, pumps, valves, etc.).
• Assist with equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturer’s procedures and instructions are followed in order to keep production equipment operating at OEM specifications.
• Assist in development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures for all processes.
• Understand process and process equipment specifications, processing methods and procedures that are critical to line performance.
• Maintain effective communication with all persons involved with or affected by assigned responsibilities.
• Provide technical expertise and support related to manufacturing.

Data Engineer

• Design, develop, and deploy data ingestion and egress solutions to meet evolving business and analytics requirements
• Participate in defining data standards, governance practices, and warehouse architecture models
• Partner with data owners and department leaders to design data models and establish protocols for accessing and analyzing production data
• Contribute to the development and refinement of data management policies, procedures, and best practices
• Identify gaps and improvement opportunities within data engineering processes and platforms, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders
• Analyze existing BI and EDW architecture and recommend enhancements to support scalability, performance, and growth
• Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines, transformations, and data models
• Collaborate with application development teams to design and manage data queries, procedures, and integrations
• Monitor data warehouse performance, including stored procedures and query execution, and implement efficiency improvements
• Diagnose and resolve data access, quality, and performance issues across the data platform
• Develop and maintain change control, testing, and deployment processes for data model and pipeline changes
• Implement and promote data quality, validation, and monitoring practices
• Define and maintain data definitions and metadata for new and existing database objects
• Collaborate with business users, analytics teams, and IT partners to ensure data solutions align with business needs
• Create documentation, standards, and reusable routines to enable best-practice use of data tools
• Provide guidance and support to data consumers to improve data literacy and effective data usage

Customer Support

• Manage daily order entry, maintenance, and reporting through various portals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal teams including sales, procurement, warehouse, logistics and manufacturing to ensure timely and professional service
• Maintain customer accounts, item setup, and support demand forecasting
• Communicate with customers via email to address inquiries, service options, and coverage solutions
• Consult with customers to assess needs and recommend appropriate service and fulfillment options
• Utilize Retail Link (Walmart) to analyze orders and resolve issues
• Partner with finance to resolve shipping deductions
• Collaborate with warehouse and manufacturing teams to ensure order compliance, productivity, efficiency, and adherence to specifications
• Monitor fulfillment and manufacturing performance metrics related to customer orders
• Proactively resolve customer issues with empathy to improve satisfaction
• Cross-train and provide support for other Customer Service Representatives
• Collaborate cross-functionally to meet/exceed customer expectations
• Perform additional duties as assigned
