Independent Sales Agents – 1099

Engineering Manager

• Leverage emerging AI technologies to enhance performance, automation, and data-driven decision-making across systems and processes
• Stay current with AI advancements and evaluate opportunities to apply them in solving complex engineering and business challenges
• Build and optimize data infrastructure that powers AI and machine learning pipelines, ensuring scalable, high-quality data availability for advanced analytics and modeling
• Being a hands-on manager, you will be responsible for both technical (50%) and management (50%) duties
• Maintain a value oriented and business driven approach to project prioritization and resourcing
• Collaborate effectively across teams and key stakeholders including Product Management, Product UX Design, Infrastructure, Business, other engineering teams

Senior Manager, Software Engineering

Recruitment

• Support high-volume recruitment initiatives for our teleSales group.
• Partner with Sales hiring managers to attract critical talent for their teams.
• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing and screening candidates, scheduling hiring interviews, preparing offer letters, and managing candidates through onboarding.
• Meet or exceed daily and weekly recruiting metrics, including completed number of video interviews, hiring manager interviews, and offers.
• Create a positive and engaging candidate experience through education and proactive communication.

Talent Acquisition Specialist – High Volume

Operations

• Provide operational, sales, and compliance support to Independent Sales Agents within eHealth’s 1099 program
• Serve as a primary contact for agent inquiries related to systems, compliance, commissions, contracts, and sales support
• Deliver real time support via chat and Microsoft Teams office hours
• Host sales training and upskilling sessions for 1099 agents
• Maintain accurate agent records, compliance documentation, and Ready to Sell status
• Conduct compliance follow-ups and support corrective actions as needed
• Monitor agent performance and identify coaching, training, and live sales support opportunities
• Share agent feedback and insights to support continuous improvement of the ISA program
• Demonstrate eHealth’s core values in daily work and decision-making

ISA Operations Specialist

Account Executive

• Take inbound calls and advise clients on health insurance options
• Outbound follow-up responsibilities
• Performance-based measures including conversion, applications, member retention and compliance
• Complete an extensive 4-week training program
• Work during hours between 6:00AM – 6:00PM PST, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Required to make outbound calls to follow up on leads and cross-sell ancillary products
• Meet daily sales metrics, goals, and carrier quality expectations

Individual and Family Plan Sales Representative

Administration

• Manage and execute end-to-end licensing and/or carrier appointment processes for an assigned group of Benefit Advisors or carrier partners
• Support the state licensing process, including screening candidates for eligibility, preparing onboarding documentation, and coordinating exam preparation and scheduling
• Submit and track insurance license applications across all states, maintaining communication with Departments of Insurance to ensure timely approvals
• Coordinate fingerprinting requirements and ensure all regulatory steps are completed accurately and efficiently
• Monitor and maintain license renewals and continuing education requirements to ensure ongoing compliance across all systems
• Oversee carrier appointment processes, including preparing high-volume reports, tracking appointment status, and resolving delays through analysis and escalation
• Partner with Sales, Training, and Licensing Operations teams to ensure advisors complete all onboarding and certification requirements
• Maintain accurate advisor status records across systems to mitigate compliance risk and ensure agents are authorized to sell only where permitted
• Conduct gap analyses and identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system enhancements and automation related to licensing and onboarding processes

Licensing Administrator – Seasonal

Human Resources

• Initiate and participate in projects that drive business improvement, engage with employees/managers to understand culture and connect with the team, and participate in and lead change initiatives and communication efforts
• In partnership with the ER Generalist, you will provide coaching/counseling advice to Sales managers and employees, and work to resolve employee relations issues quickly.
• Coach Sales managers to anticipate talent issues proactively
• Be a problem solver in tough talent situations and recommend solutions with high business acumen
• Partner with HR Ops team to identify and improve standard processes that help drive effectiveness and efficiency in our operational delivery
• Work with cross functional stakeholders to execute on HR processes (e.g., working with HR Ops on delivery of HR services, invol terminations, partnering with legal on involuntary termination agreements, partnering with HRIS team to support the business using Workday, etc)
• Assist in the design and implementation of HR initiatives aligned with eHealth’s overall talent strategy
• Support the creation and delivery of just in time training to support existing and new business processes and initiatives.
