About the role

  • Drive new and expansion sales of DeepL’s products in the US market
  • Manage an inbound pipeline of sales opportunities and prospect into new accounts
  • Meet and exceed monthly activity, pipeline, and revenue goals
  • Quickly gain a strong understanding of DeepL’s products and customer needs to troubleshoot and resolve inquiries
  • Respond to a large volume of inbound prospects and manage opportunities through the entire sales cycle (qualification to close)
  • Build pipeline of new business and pursue upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with accounts in book of business
  • Forecast and track opportunity and customer details including use cases, purchase timeframes, and next steps
  • Participate in hybrid team activities and occasional in-person events

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full-cycle sales experience (software/SaaS experience preferred)
  • Consultative sales approach and polished presentation skills
  • Exceptional organizational, presentation, and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Ability to manage an inbound pipeline and prospect into new accounts
  • Experience managing high volume opportunities through entire sales cycle (qualification to close)
  • Proven ability to meet/exceed monthly activity, pipeline, and revenue goals
  • Ability to quickly learn product and troubleshoot customer needs
  • Ability to thrive in a start-up environment; strategic thinking and tactical execution
  • Team player, supportive of colleagues
  • Comfortable commuting to the office up to three times per week or able to request accommodations
