Engineer

• Support current process technology and implement improvements to department/plant operations based upon manufacturing engineering analysis of existing operations compared to future requirements based on capacity, cost reduction, safety and/or risk avoidance opportunities.
• Help to prepare project justification including recommendations, make-vs-buy analysis, layout, cost impact and schedule activities as required.
• Implementation of processes including equipment procurement, coordination of installation, process capability prove-out, training, process documentation, work standard measurement and production start-up.

Manufacturing Engineer I – Assembly

Security Engineer

• Lead Security Officer Duties - In the absence of the Lead Security Officer, will act in this capacity
• Perform and document safety equipment inspections and maintenance
• Operate and monitor computer based fire/security alarm system
• Tour all company properties and facilities (either by vehicle or foot patrols)
• Document surveillance checkpoints
• Respond to all incidents and security and fire alarms

Security Officer, 3rd Shift

• Lead Security Officer Duties - In the absence of the Lead Security Officer, the Officer with highest service credit will act in this capacity.
• The Officer will assign work to Security Officers, review daily logs and incident reports for all patrol tours per shift, assist in training personnel, and assist the department in responding to security questions, problems and issues.
• Safety Equipment Inspection - Perform and document safety equipment inspections and maintenance.
• Dispatcher Operations - Operate and monitor computer based fire/security alarm system, radio and telephone communications systems.
• When notified by these systems, make required notifications for 811 emergency service, severe weather, or other emergencies.
• Process and update security information either in the form of paperwork of input data into database.
• Operate switchboard after normal working hours and communicate with company employees, outside callers, vendors, guests, customers, etc.
• Property and Facility Patrol - Tour all company properties and facilities (either by vehicle or foot patrols) and monitor the general welfare and condition of safety/fire equipment, securing doors, machines, lights, office equipment and building status in general.
• Document surveillance checkpoints.
• Report unsafe or hazardous conditions and provide assistance when necessary.
• Other Duties / Miscellaneous - Facilitate the controlled access procedures for the company facilities. This will include the escort of guests, contractors and company personnel, the locking and unlocking of controlled access buildings, and the control of parking and traffic.
• Respond to all incidents and security and fire alarms to access and communicate the need for assistance when necessary.
• Write summary reports of responses to specific incidents and general patrol activity.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Security Officer – 2nd Shift

Supply Chain

• Expedite repair parts or services needed per machine failure.
• Collaborate with Technicians and Supervisors on part identification and usage.
• Place requisitions, purchase orders, amend current purchase orders by changing dates, amounts or cancel existing orders to support the needs of the department.
• Determine if parts need to be inventoried.
• Search for best price and service.
• Work with corporate purchasing and negotiate with supplier for best price break and delivery available.
• Follow up on late or incorrect deliveries.
• Use approved suppliers were prudent and possible to do so.
• Approve or disapprove invoices for repair and/or services.
• Communicate weekly with accounting to establish identification on repair charges.
• Monitor daily charges to the maintenance account and scan for non-department charges.
• Monitor usage of repair parts.
• Identify the items that need to have min/max and minimum order quantities established.
• Establish a 2nd and 3rd supplier when applicable.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on all suppliers, vendors, and repair organizations. This would include primary contacts, phone/fax numbers, websites, warranties, etc.
• Participate in departmental meetings, as well as supplier meetings both at the company and the supplier.
