About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for maximizing the sale of dock and door equipment and parts & service
  • Develop existing accounts & seek new business
  • Analyze opportunities and identify key personnel
  • Develop strong business relationships
  • Consult & problem solve to enhance the Company’s position in existing & target accounts
  • Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers
  • Develop sales strategies, proposals, & forecasts
  • Develop & conduct product demonstrations & sales presentations
  • Prepare quotations & customer correspondence
  • Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls and customer files
  • Discuss sales activities with Sales Manager
  • Participate in ongoing training programs and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
  • May include traveling to Northern Kentucky branch

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Less than 2 years related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program (preferred)
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, responsibility, self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment
  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
