Account Representative – Dock Door
Careers at CrownAccount Representative maximizing sales of dock and door equipment and parts. Foster business relationships and provide strong consultation to enhance the Company’s position.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Responsible for maximizing the sale of dock and door equipment and parts & service
- Develop existing accounts & seek new business
- Analyze opportunities and identify key personnel
- Develop strong business relationships
- Consult & problem solve to enhance the Company’s position in existing & target accounts
- Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers
- Develop sales strategies, proposals, & forecasts
- Develop & conduct product demonstrations & sales presentations
- Prepare quotations & customer correspondence
- Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls and customer files
- Discuss sales activities with Sales Manager
- Participate in ongoing training programs and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
- May include traveling to Northern Kentucky branch
Requirements
What you’ll need- Less than 2 years related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos
- Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program (preferred)
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Strong problem-solving capabilities, responsibility, self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
