Solutions Engineer

• Develop and qualify process flows and integration schemes for integrated photonic devices to meet product requirements
• Conceive, plan, execute, and interpret process integration studies to support technology maturation and enable a viable transition to mass production. This includes leading small-to-medium integration and optimization projects while contributing to more complex development programs
• Develop data collection strategies that provide quantitative insights for evidence-based decision-making. Analyze complex datasets and distill key observations
• Connect observations from past and current studies into recommendations that improve process quality, manufacturability, and yield
• Communicate findings and recommendations across the organization and collaborate closely with Optical Design, System Design, Characterization, Graphene, and other cross-functional teams
• Actively engage with Process Engineering and related teams to define and continuously refine process specifications for our 300 mm manufacturing facility
• Abide by change-management protocols to introduce evidence-based improvements to our manufacturing sequences

Senior Process Integration Engineer – f/m/d

Mechanical Engineer

• Design, simulate, and optimize analog, RF, and mixed-signal circuit blocks
• Perform analyses to optimize performance and robustness
• Collaborate with layout engineers on parasitic-aware implementation and verification
• Support silicon bring-up, lab characterization, debugging, and performance correlation
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define specifications and drive design decisions

Analog, RF, High-Speed IC Design Engineer

• Take technical ownership of the complete tape-out flow
• Drive EIC+PIC DfX co-integration across a 300 mm graphene photonics platform
• Own the complete tape-out flow including Mask GDS/MDP integration, DRC/LVS/ERC verification, final mask sign-off, and rule file maintenance
• Lead GDS and reticle-to-fab delivery, ensuring compliance with fab specifications
• Drive DFM and DFT integration through yield optimization, hotspot mitigation, layout optimization
• Design and integrate special GDS structures
• Act as the primary interface between mask shops, foundry lithography/metrology teams, EDA vendors, and cross-functional teams
• Maintain GDS version control and audit-trail archiving while supporting first-silicon debug

• Support the development of software tools for semiconductor layout generation
• Contribute to scaling our design infrastructure from research prototypes to production-ready systems
• Develop Python scripts to generate semiconductor mask layouts and expand our layouting repository
• Support the transition of design tools from academic prototypes to production-ready software
• Implement new layout components and features
• Containerize workflows

Layouting Software Development – Working Student

Engineer

• Execute and support the equipment installation and process qualification activities for the Lithography area
• Work with internal and external Black Semiconductor customers to develop lithography processes that meet defined Unit Process Deliverables
• Collaborate with the BLK Integration team to support future applications and process modules aligned to our long-term technology roadmap
• Mentor technical engineering team members and train less-experienced personnel on lithography processes and best practices
• Develop and implement process control methodologies for assigned lithography equipment and processes, ensuring stability, repeatability, and continuous improvement

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Support the CFO Business Partner in managing, coordinating and further developing central finance functions
• Work at the interface between strategy and operational execution
• Document and optimize financial processes in collaboration with the business units
• Contribute to the implementation of compliance policies and procedures and to the establishment and maintenance of the risk management system
• Identify and document risks in financial processes
• Provide functional and organizational support for ERP implementation projects
• Establish and maintain the Internal Control System (ICS)
