Account Executive

• Responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new clients and strengthening existing relationships through daily load execution
• Deliver tailored solutions that meet each client's unique needs with a strong understanding of the supply chain
• Manage complex sales cycles and offer customized, high-value services to small and mid-sized businesses, with emphasis on transactional freight opportunities
• Develop and manage your own book of business, acting as an entrepreneur within the organization
• Make daily outbound calls to customers and follow up on potential business opportunities
• Coordinate with the Operations team to track shipments and ensure timely delivery
• Provide accurate and competitive quotes to customers, keeping them informed with up-to-date information
• Contribute to the growth and development of new business opportunities
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
• Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• New Business Development: Identify and pursue new enterprise clients, generate leads, and build relationships with key decision-makers.
• Account Management: Cultivate long-term relationships with existing clients, upsell, cross-sell, and expand account value.
• Consultative Selling: Understand client needs and provide tailored, high-value solutions as a trusted advisor.
• Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed targets, adjusting for market trends.
• Negotiation & Closing: Lead complex negotiations and close high-value deals while managing client expectations.
• Collaboration: Work with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and act as the customer’s voice.

Enterprise Sales Representative

• Identify and prospect small-to-medium clients through outbound efforts, referrals, and inbound leads
• Conduct discovery calls and needs assessments to understand clients' logistics challenges
• Develop tailored proposals and deliver compelling sales presentations
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements in collaboration with leadership
• Onboard new clients and work with internal teams to ensure a seamless handoff to the ADR team
• Develop SOPs with the Account Development team
• Maintain CRM records and forecast sales performance
• Achieve/exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
• Sell logistics solutions (e.g., LTL/partial, FTL, last-mile delivery, white glove/expedite, warehousing, drayage, or technology-enabled logistics solutions)
• Work closely with operations and account development departments to ensure client satisfaction
• Target a customer base with predominantly spot freight opportunities

Logistics Sales Representative

Business Development Rep

• Develop and implement strategies with Account Teams and Sales Leadership to maximize and strengthen relationships with all customers
• Assist in Developing customer SOP’s
• Assist in escalated situations with customers and aid in providing solutions
• Communicate potential issues and concerns with the operations team
• Review new and upcoming accounts
• Set weekly check-ins with leadership
• Effectively communicate team needs to leadership
• Professional communication both internally and externally
• Understand the urgency and risk of each individual account
• Set expectations internally for all personnel involved with SMB accounts
• Willingness to coach and take ownership of all assigned accounts
• Assist in after-hours coverage where needed
• Cross-functional collaboration
• Professional and efficient communication with operations (i.e. Proactive update requests, collecting paperwork, monitor tracking updates)
• Professional and efficient communication with customers (i.e. Providing updates to delays upon request, proactive updates, quoting)
• Bid on ALL spot market opportunities that fit Ally’s capabilities
• Utilize leadership for all questions and concerns regarding an account
• Bring all escalations to Customer Success and Customer Issues email distros
• Ensure loads are being built and scheduled in a timely manner
• Close loads out in a timely manner
• Respond to billing needs (POD, lumper, etc)
• Create Customer SOPs for ALL accounts
• Set up customer calls and check-ins
• Determine the best equipment type (i.e. Could this be partial?)

Account Development Representative

Sales

• Conduct cold calling, send emails, and leverage LinkedIn to set up meetings.
• Source and nurture new customer relationships.
• Build and manage loads within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Participate in sales presentations alongside your Sales Coach.
• Assist in creating sales dashboards and shadow sales leadership.
• Help with scheduling, tracking, and follow-up on active shipments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work with the Operations Team on load assignments and updates to ensure timely service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on account activities and shipment statuses.

Sales Intern
