About the role

  • Responsible for driving business growth by acquiring new clients and strengthening existing relationships through daily load execution
  • Deliver tailored solutions that meet each client's unique needs with a strong understanding of the supply chain
  • Manage complex sales cycles and offer customized, high-value services to small and mid-sized businesses, with emphasis on transactional freight opportunities
  • Develop and manage your own book of business, acting as an entrepreneur within the organization
  • Make daily outbound calls to customers and follow up on potential business opportunities
  • Coordinate with the Operations team to track shipments and ensure timely delivery
  • Provide accurate and competitive quotes to customers, keeping them informed with up-to-date information
  • Contribute to the growth and development of new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers
  • Collaborate effectively with team members in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • Strong multi-tasker with the ability to problem solve
  • Detailed oriented
