Sales Engineer

• Master our platform and support Sales team by enabling them with insights, expertise and the relevant tools;
• Listen and understand prospects’ needs and work internally on how Alan can address them best;
• Build a thorough understanding of the prospect and assess the level of functional alignment with our offering and capabilities;
• Participate to RFP submissions and build Alan’s response in collaboration with Sales, Insurance and Product experts;
• Join the customer acquisition journey to evangelize our services and products;
• Act as voice of the customer feeding Alan’s platform roadmap;
• Prepare handover for delightful customers’ onboardings;
• Participate to and eventually coordinate the most complex customer onboardings;
• Work in close collaboration with your peers in France to ensure good practice sharing and build a global playbook.

Insurance

• Monitor the business and the risks,
• Help the rest of the team understand the subtleties of healthcare and insurance.
• Being part of a small and talented team currently working on delivering the best experience to our members
• Recent missions include:
• Defining the pricing and re-pricing strategy of the different products
• Improving margin monitoring
• Collaborating with the Key Account Managers team to make sure they are equipped with the right tools to deliver the best experience to their customers
• Analyzing the profitability of the portfolio and suggesting action points
• Being part of an insurance community at the global level, with an impact on our organization, hiring and training across multiple countries.

Insurance Expert – Spanish Market

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Design, scale and automate finance processes
• Produce and communicate accurate financial data to key stakeholders
• Ensure that all key finance processes are automated and integrated into the broader tech stack
• Work with the Finance Strategy team on budgeting and financial planning
• Identify and implement process improvements and automations
• Collaborate with various teams to provide financial insights and support financial workflows
• Contribute to strategic projects such as M&A and fundraising

Learning and Development

• Spending significant time on the field to identify gaps in our sales skills and performance.
• Training in sales at onboarding and during all their evolution within Alan’s team.
• Designing impactful training programs across crucial topics: sales skills, insurance expertise, legal environment, and product mastery.
• Building training assets leveraging internal experts and leadership.
• Experiment various engaging formats to maximize sales adoption.
• Ensuring proper change management as our organization keep on scaling up (new countries, new products...).
• Own our two flagship sales events (Sales Kick-Off and Back to School) that bring together our entire sales organization in France, Belgium, and Spain.
• Build engaging training programs on Alan's hot business topics.
• Help scale the most innovative Sales Enablement function through creative training solutions and scalable content.

Sales Learning & Development

Full-stack Engineer

• Build and optimize alan.com - the high-traffic platform for discovery and conversion
• Power acquisition channels (paid, SEO) to drive organic and paid traffic at scale
• Develop seamless conversion experiences from discovery to final signup
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Research, and Product teams
• Work on broader initiatives like partnership integrations, accountant tools, and brand campaigns

Fullstack Software Engineer – Growth, Brand

Business Development Rep

• Strategic account mapping: Conduct deep analysis of target companies (300–3,000 employees), identifying key contacts and decision-makers across assigned segments.
• High-quality prospecting: Execute multichannel outreach to schedule 2–3 high-quality discovery meetings per week via email, LinkedIn, phone, and creative approaches.
• Apply the Alan Smart & Soft selling method to ensure the prospect experience aligns with Alan’s customer standards.
• Meeting preparation & support: Prepare meeting materials, actively contribute to meetings alongside Account Executives, and occasionally lead meetings with non–C-level contacts.
• Relationship building: Proactively nurture and engage key stakeholders throughout long sales cycles—maintaining regular contact and building trust until opportunities are opened. Consistent follow-up is essential to develop a strong, qualified pipeline.
• Contribute to and own strategic team initiatives: Actively participate in BDR team projects, contribute to the sales playbook, and take ownership of initiatives that improve team performance and processes.
