About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor the business and the risks,
- Help the rest of the team understand the subtleties of healthcare and insurance.
- Being part of a small and talented team currently working on delivering the best experience to our members
- Recent missions include:
- Defining the pricing and re-pricing strategy of the different products
- Improving margin monitoring
- Collaborating with the Key Account Managers team to make sure they are equipped with the right tools to deliver the best experience to their customers
- Analyzing the profitability of the portfolio and suggesting action points
- Being part of an insurance community at the global level, with an impact on our organization, hiring and training across multiple countries.
Requirements
What you’ll need- You have at least 3+ years of experience in health insurance
- You are fluent in English
- Knowledge of the trends from the sector, of the pricing/repricing business decisions and market practices
- You combine a quantitative background (statistics, actuarial sciences) with an experience in insurance products and business
- You are able to navigate and synthesize technical, data, business and legal questions related to insurance
- You have a builder mindset, continuously identifying opportunities to scale and optimize processes and systems
- You are willing to deeply change the insurance and healthcare industry and challenge the status quo
- It would be even better if:
- You are fluent in Spanish or willing to learn Spanish
- You have experience coordinating with teams based in another country
- You have connections and a deep understanding of the Spanish health insurance market
