Account Executive

• Supporting Grocery Account Plans: Work closely with the National Account Manager to deliver the Joint Business Plan (JBP) for Major Multiples. You will take ownership of specific administrative and operational tasks that ensure the smooth running of these large-scale accounts.
• Driving the Alcohol Portfolio: Act as the internal champion for the Alcohol category (specifically Funkin). You will monitor SKU performance, track distribution gaps, and work to increase the Rate of Sale for our alcohol products within the grocery aisle.
• Promotional Execution: Manage the end-to-end promotional process for the alcohol range. This includes completing promotional nomination forms, tracking compliance in-store, and conducting post-promotional analysis to evaluate ROI.
• Data Analysis & Forecasting: Own the weekly and period reporting for the alcohol category. You will use retailer data (e.g., Dunnhumby, IRI) to track sales performance, identify trends, and support the NAM with accurate forecasting for the supply chain.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaison with internal Brand, Supply Chain, and Field Sales teams to ensure that our alcohol marketing campaigns are effectively executed at store level.
• Building Buyer Relationships: Develop strong working relationships with junior buyers, supply contacts, and category planners within the retailer. You will be the first point of contact for day-to-day queries, helping to solve problems and maintain high service levels.
• New Business & NPD: Support the sell-in of New Product Development (NPD) within the alcohol range, preparing samples and presentation decks to showcase the value of our innovations to grocery buyers.

National Account Executive – Retail Alcohol

Account Manager

• Take full ownership of key grocery accounts, managing promotional activities, forecasting, and working collaboratively with key internal and external teams. You will ensure our alcohol brands maintain high visibility and availability on the shelf.
• Act as the subject matter expert for the alcohol category (including Funkin). You will drive distribution and rate of sale for these specific SKUs, understanding the nuances of selling alcohol versus soft drinks in a retail environment.
• Develop a strong understanding of P&L management and drive contribution through effective negotiation. Build comprehensive joint business plans (JBPs) with major grocers, ensuring alignment with our alcohol growth strategy.
• Own the process for weekly, period, and annual forecasting, using multiple data sources (including retailer specific data) to generate accurate forecasts for the alcohol category. Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure stock availability meets the volatile demand of the sector.
• Prepare and execute successful negotiations with grocery buyers, ensuring the protection of AG Barr's values and mitigating risks. Build strong relationships with key contacts (Buying, Supply, Format) to ensure long-term strategic partnerships.
• Adapt communication style to align with major retailer needs. Gain deep insights into customers’ internal systems and objectives, using this knowledge to create effective, customer-centric plans that privilege our alcohol range.
• Partner with commercial managers, brand teams, and internal departments to ensure strategic alignment. You will work to translate brand marketing for Funkin and other alcohol assets into effective instore execution.
• Track and report on key performance metrics (Rate of Sale, Distribution, Margin), ensuring business objectives are met.

National Account Manager – Retail Alcohol

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Lead the consolidated month-end reporting, forecasting and annual budget process for the Balance Sheet and Cashflow (and associated metrics). Lead monthly review meetings with relevant stakeholders, providing insightful analysis and recommendations.
• Own the business working capital optimisation project including ongoing tracking, idea generation, and delivery.
• Monitor Return on Capital Employed (ROCE), a key strategic measure for the business.
• Lead the financial modelling for our end to end Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to support the Senior Leadership team in the making of strategic decisions.
• Perform relevant planning, analysis and reporting activities to deliver the group’s Capital Allocation strategy.
• Prepare critical technical assessments including Viability &Going Concern and Impairment reviews.

Manager

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts (buyers, agencies, merchandisers). You will be responsible for developing contract strategies and leading all critical customer meetings, including Brand Planning.
• Launch Campaigns: Create compelling, insight-led online campaigns aligned with the overall business and specific customer goals.

• Collaborate in the implementation and management of enterprise-grade security tools and systems, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, Secure Gateways, NDR, endpoint protection, SIEM platforms and IAM.
• Support internal projects teams to ensure a “Secure by Design” approach, ensuring solutions and processes are securely architected across IT/OT infrastructure, be that on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, embedding cybersecurity best practices into every layer of architecture.
• Collaborate in the development and maintenance of technical documentation, security baselines, and architectural standards aligned with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, IEC62443 and CIS Controls.
