About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Acquire new customers and develop the existing business portfolio within Leisure Groups
  • Retain full responsibility for customers within the designated sector
  • Target and onboard new customers
  • Execute Company and Business Unit strategic priorities within agreed budgets
  • Network and build strong relationships with key contacts within a designated OOH route to market
  • Manage accounts within nominated sectors and achieve agreed KPIs, including new business, IR, contribution, NPD, distribution, and promotional loading and management
  • Develop, agree, and deliver joint business plans with key customers
  • Work with the wider account team and Demand Planning on forecasts and account availability
  • Agree, manage, and adhere to authorised CI budgets and trading terms
  • Create, execute, and ensure compliance with customer promotional activity
  • Develop and share business insights using IRI, Kantar, and category data
  • Build relationships with key customers from CEO to warehouse operatives
  • Coordinate internal communication and processes with NAEs, NAMs, Head of On Trade, and BUD
  • Maintain clear external communication regarding business decisions affecting customers

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Business-related degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience within an FMCG company, ideally with exposure to marketing, sales promotion, and P&L management
  • Experience managing key accounts, particularly within the FMCG sector, with a focus on head office account management and customer relationship development
  • Good IT skills (Google Suite, Excel, PowerPoint & Word)
  • Able to learn new packages (Trinamix, IRI/Kantar, CGA)
  • High level of numeracy and good attention to detail
  • Highly organised and a self-starter
  • Good communicator, especially remotely
  • An understanding of selling techniques
  • Knowledge of the On Trade Industry
  • Familiarity with routes to market, indirect and direct customers
  • Highly motivated to succeed
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
