• The Manager - Contract Management will be part of the Johnson & Johnson MedTech Contract Strategy & Execution (CS&E) organization, reporting to the Senior Manager, Contract Management.
• This role is responsible for driving flawless implementation of contracts and pricing strategies throughout the contract continuum from paper development through contract load and maintenance, while providing effective and efficient contract review and negotiation for commercial contracts.
• These responsibilities include supporting contract templates that enable approved business and CPC strategies and supporting terms and conditions redlines for commercial contracts across the JJMT Surgery organization, including robotics and digital surgery, as applicable.
• This individual is also responsible for assigned redlines, including customer negotiations in close partnership with Offer Development, Account Management, Deal Managers, and the Field Sales Organization.
• They will partner closely with the Commercial Programs Legal Group (CPLG) as a Learned Intermediary, the broader CS&E Contracting community, HCC, and internal business partners, including senior management, to identify opportunities, support process improvements, and advance critical company initiatives that improve turnaround time, contracting workflows, governance, risk management, and customer experience.
• Responsibilities include, at the direction of the Senior Manager, Contract Management, coordination of terms and conditions options and changes, identifying potential gaps, ensuring contracts are aligned to approved strategies, supporting customer negotiations, sharing preferred practices, and recommending solutions that improve customer experience and operational excellence.

Manager – Contract Management

• Integrate external suppliers into the PDP (product development process) to ensure the external delivery at SOP (start of production) and represent the Purchasing department in PDP project.
• Take responsibility for component specific cost validation and alignment.
• Cooperate closely with interfaces along the supply chain and execute change management in projects.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment of purchasing activities with project goals.

Project Purchasing Professional

• Build and implement a strategic sourcing framework that drives efficiency, compliance, and agility in purchasing software, cloud services, and business partnerships.
• Oversee procurement operations to ensure all requests flow smoothly through the right reviews and approval paths while meeting SLAs for speed and compliance.
• Partner with CISO and IT teams to ensure software purchases are secure, complementary to our existing stack, and optimized for cost.
• Serve as system admin for Zip, maintaining and improving workflows that guide stakeholders through each stage of the SaaS and services procurement lifecycle.
• Advise business partners on procurement policy and best practices, ensuring expectations are managed and decisions align with company standards.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Finance to monitor and optimize cloud spend, surfacing insights that drive budget efficiency.

Manager, Strategic Sourcing – Vendor Management

• Maintain and deepen Nava’s relationships with existing cooperative purchasing vehicles, state-specific procurement mechanisms, and schedule contract holders
• Conduct regular outreach and engagement with vehicle administrators and state procurement officials to keep Nava positioned as an active, compliant, and preferred vendor on existing vehicles
• Monitor utilization rates and activity on current vehicles; identify underperforming vehicles and develop strategies to increase engagement or reactivate dormant relationships
• Track contract vehicle renewal timelines, compliance requirements, and reporting obligations; coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure Nava meets all vehicle-level requirements proactively
• Serve as Nava’s primary relationship owner with vehicle administrators, cooperative purchasing organizations, and state procurement bodies
• Identify procurement vehicles, cooperative agreements, and acquisition pathways in priority states where Nava currently lacks coverage or where gaps create a competitive disadvantage
• Develop and execute a vehicle establishment roadmap, prioritizing new cooperative agreements, schedule contracts, and state-specific vehicles that open doors in key target states before pursuits require them
• Lead the application, onboarding, and activation process for new vehicles; coordinate with Legal, Finance, and Contracts to ensure compliance and timely execution
• Build and maintain a current vehicle map that tracks which vehicles Nava is on, which are actively used, and which represent untapped entry points by territory
• Lead the early operationalization of Nava’s NASPO ValuePoint agreement, including identifying the incremental infrastructure, processes, and marketing efforts required to support NASPO at scale

• Advise Capture Managers on activated pursuits where vehicle selection is a competitive variable
• Research and analyze state-specific procurement authority, sole-source pathways, emergency procurement options, and cooperative vehicle eligibility to ensure Nava has a viable acquisition route for every priority opportunity
• Maintain a landscape of cooperative purchasing organizations (NASPO, NCPA, SEWP, state-specific cooperatives) and advise on Nava’s positioning relative to each

Procurement Vehicle Strategist

• Lead sourcing events (RFQs/RFPs) for assigned direct material categories
• Analyze spend and market conditions to identify cost reduction and value optimization opportunities
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and contracts aligned to total cost of ownership
• Execute sourcing activities in alignment with Hexion’s Strategic Sourcing Process (SSP)
